Cisse/Diouf: Both criminal wastes of money on players who don't have some of the basics of some of the game. I'd say Heskey but I was never excited when we got him. Harsh but it's the truth.

The season of 1991-92 was the biggest negative turning point for this club. Every year I would think we would win the league, that changed forever after Souness' tenure. I used to watch the Centenary video once a month to reassure me that this club could recover from the madness of his management plus to remind me of the good times. Been beaten 5-1 by Coventry was the blackest day. I blame Souness for it all. We regressed so far that it took Roy to steady the ship, GH to reorganise us and Rafa to coach us back to where we belong. Only in the last year can I feel like we're back in our place, though we won't fully there until we capture No.19. No.5 was something I could only dream about in the 90's as we were eons away from it. On another note: Far as I know Kenny had a shopping list of Batty, Shearer, Wright, Walker and McAllister for the summer before his resignation.

No but going by official lines thats their side of the story... If SWP wants out he's gonna have to kick up a fuss. I'd rather spend the big bucks on a striker and get Victor and Pennant in on the cheap.

I'd reserve judgement yet as Japan's World Cup (H) one has two shade's of blue in the trimming that takes the white out of it. Think ours will be similar to that. BTW nice to see Real having two sponsors.. Chelsea's by the looks of it is a blue version of an Arsenal strip..

Thing is High Chief Weasel Kenyon has said 3 players are off in the summer but Wright-Phillips or Drogba ain't any of them. I find it highly unlikely he'll go anywhere this summer. Reckon the 3 outs are Duff, Bridge and Gallas.

Highlight : Beating Everton with 10 men. Awesome performance. Lowlight: Losing to Benfica and Chelsea.

We're weak in Right wing and upfront so reckon there will be where we strenghten. Right wing : Victor and Pennant/Giuly. Upfront : Torres or Kuyt with Cisse going. Back up defenders too probably in the shape of Bonera and Alves. Added to Gonzalez, Paletta and Aurelio it's not a bad squad at all.

I think most of us should feel the same. Somethings are just set in stone.. The hatred of that lot is just ingrained.

Too right, I got a great delight in watching them get thumped 3-0 yesterday.. Rooney getting injured was a bonus too.. That's my feelings on it..
