First time I've ever been bored watching us.

I'd suggest the 7-0 was the only game we've played in a long time where we pressed aggressively like we used to. Most games we've just sat in front of the half way line pressing with just two or three players. Must be that some of the players aren't physically up to it. It was worrying that Jurgen named four players he was happy with yesterday with two of them being Hendo and Fab. Hopefully that was trying to give some confidence to the two players we'll be forced to play in the middle for the rest of the term.

I've yet to forgive Neil for Hodgsons book club.

Not sure what midfield I want to see tomorrow, I just know who I don't want to see. No idea either how good or bad their midfield is.

That's the worst 45 minutes I've seen us play since Hodgson, apart from in defence.

I thought the opposite. We lost possession in their final third at one point and he was one of the few to sprint all the way back to our box and close down play. As an aside I just spent two minutes trying to delete the full stop between "to sprint" not realising it was a bit of crap on my monitor.

I know nothing about him, have never watched him play and have only just watched the following vid. It looks like he can put a tackle in. He'll do.

I don't get this line from Jurgen about them bending the rules. They had a plan, they played well and they deserved the win. Nothing has changed in the last two months except we are more pissed off with us playing s***e - the midfield needs not one or two but three or four top quality signings. The only thing I'd add is we are pressing less consistently - as though we are inviting them out to make space for us. Our high line is working against us when we do that.

It's true about Elliot being a bit lightweight but the lad has plenty of time. We were saying the same about Trent a couple of years ago. The only bright side of this season is the youngsters are getting time.
