I can't see us selling Coutinho this window. We are under no pressure to do that. He will probably end up at Barca and they will take him next season or the season after that. His price will not go down so there is no risk for us to keep him and he seems willing to stay for now. IMO Keita is the long term replacement for him and I think the idea was to bring Keita over now and sell Phil next season. As it stands Keita is not coming and Phil is staying.

Protecting our back four is something our midfield is lacking. Buying a cb doesn't fix that. We need both imo.

He has played one game with Sturridge, against Spurs and we played our best game in the PL this season. I want to see him with Sturridge and Sterling. Not saying he is my favorite player.

I agree with the age. But I think he would fit well in and is a player Brendan likes to work with. Runs his socks off, has a good vision and good technique.

I liked him a lot when he was playing for Napoli and wanted us to sign him then. Have not seen him play much for PSG but played 48 games and scored 12 goals last season.
