  1. I'm not sure Everton fans would be to pleased with us signing him up. IMO he is a very good player and can actually play as a DM, AM and even as a striker.
  2. According to this Fellaini has a buyout clause. Sell Suarez for 40m and buy him for 23.5m. Then spend 15 - 20m on a striker.
  3. Just to clarify my view on the matter: a) I don't think we 'have' to sell but I 'want' us to get rid of him. b) we should not accept whatever but I think we will not get more than 40m. That because the player himself is bringing down his value by pushing for the transfer and because of his personality his value is below what it would be based only on his talent.
  4. Well we will just have to wait and see. I think he will push very hard for a transfer, as he has already started to do, and he is not the character you want to have in the squad sulking. I don't think we will get 40m offer for him. I wanted him out before he started to push for himself. The bite did it for me. Don't want a scum like him in the team. He is a disgrace and it is for everyone to see.
  5. IMO it is the most we will get for him. His character has big flaws and it is just a huge risk to sign him for any club. And now he shows he has no loyalty at all to add to anything else.
  6. I would want the club to leave Suarez out of the tour. Tell him to get back to Melwood and train on his own. We need to stop treat him the way we have. Give him time to find a club which is willing to pay the 40m before a set deadline. If he is to stay he has to rebuild trust and respect. Still hope he leaves asap.
  7. That idiot doesn't even tweet in english anymore. #unfollow!!!
  8. He is a prick. Treating the club this way is unbelievable. The way he and his agent are forcing the move will only bring down his market value. Interesting clubs, if there are any, will play the waiting game. LFC will want to sell him in the window. You'de not want him near the squad sulking and the manager needs to build the team in a different way. I just can't stand the guy anymore. Want him out now. But I'm afraid we will not get anything close to 40m for him.
  9. This is good. Let the auction begin.
  10. But one has to wonder what his price is and what alternatives there are for that amount of money. I mentioned Isco and Navas who where sold for less than Shaktar are said to demand for Micky.
  11. My point has nothing to do with nationalities. I think that you can compare Navas and Isco to Mkhitaryan in someways and they are the ones to pop up in my mind this transfer window. My point is this: Is Micky overpriced? What are our alternatives?
  12. No not at all. But he is a star in Armenia but I mention two big spanish players in comparison. I had not heard much about Micky before he was linked to us to be honest. Well there where other clubs after those two players so this has to be their market value.
  13. So City sign Navas for 15m and Madrid sign Isco for 23m while we are told to pay 25m for the Armenian 'star'. I have not seen him play but I wonder if we can do better and as in all transfers and negotiation there has to be alternatives.
  14. I'm just fed up with him. The biting was it for me. I don't care if he is such a great guy off the pitch. The only thing I care about is how he manage himself on the pitch. And the fact is he does that very badly. His constant sarcasm towards referees (thumb up and clap for almost every decision) has made him referees most unpopular player in the league and that has cost us plenty. He damaged Kenny's cause a lot and has let everyone down. He is a prick for everyone to see - but the loyalty by fans is blind. I wanted him out before he started to talk his way out in the summer. My fear is that there won't be a buyer because of his character.
  15. Hope not.
  16. Well... Suarez is banned if he'll still be around anyways.
  17. I want him out of the club. The bite changed it all for me. The way he is going on about it now is pathetic and I want him out even more. BUT I think that he is already working with Madrid on this - it is their way of forcing us to sell him cheap. He is burning bridges and they know that. But this time I feel we will not give in and I wouldn't be surprised if he would still be around in september...
  18. I made up my mind on Suarez after the big Bite! I want him out of the club. Would be happy with 40m but think we will get higher bids from other clubs than Real. I know we will not replace him with a better player or a one player as near as good but we will be better off imo. Then just move on.
  19. Coutiinho is a genius!!!
  20. May 11th 2003 - final game of the season against Chelsea. The winner claims the final spot in the Champion League. We lost. The following summer Roman Abramovich buys Chelsea and the following season they finish second in the league. The season after that they win the PL with 95 points. Had we won on May 11th - would we now be owned by that Russian billionaire??
  21. Look at Bayern. This is the board of directors (Company board): Karl-Heinz Rummenigge Jan-Christian Dreesen Matthias Sammer Adreas Jung Uli Hoeness Rummenigge, Sammer and Hoeness all former footballers. And members of supervisory board: Uli Hoeneß, FC Bayern München eV president (chairman) Herbert Hainer, adidas AG chairman (vice-chairman) Rupert Stadler, Audi AG chairman (vice-chairman) Timotheus Höttges, Telekom AG chairman Karl Hopfner, FC Bayern München eV senior vice-president Helmut Markwort, Publisher FOCUS Magazine Dieter Rampl, UniCredit Group advisory board chairman Dr. Edmund Stoiber, Bavarian First Minister (rtd.) Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, Volkswagen AG chairman Strong links to big campanies there. Then they have the Club (Where members of the club have their board) and on that board the have Franz Beckenbauer as a Honorary President. What gets my attention are two things. 1) They have their legend on 'board' and they form a leadership team with what seams to be strong business men. 2) They have very strong links with big german companies like Adidas, VW, Audi, Telekom AG, UniCredit and appoint directors from those companies. Many comments bring up the issue that we lack leadership. And I think that is true. And what we lack is holding on to our stong leaders from the pitch. People like Dalglish, even Souness, Hyypia should be here, Carragher shoud get a role in the summer, even Keegan. We need to hold on to our Beckenbauer's, Rummenigge's and Hoeness's. This structure of Bayern is a factor in their success.

  23. Can you just please close this thread!!!
  24. Olsson and Huth are the two I dislike the most in the League. And Olsson gets away with almost everything.
