  1. Me and a couple of mates will be in :secret location: beforehand.
  2. The amount of grief Dave Usher, and the other fanzine sellers get whilst simply trying to make an honest living is sickening. And all the while touts and other scumbags have a free reign of the place - openly organised touting, with gangs of scallies running round for them, yet nothing is done. I heard a story about a fella who's mate couldn't go being followed around the ground by a bizzie as he had the nerve to ask if he was allowed to sell his ticket (at face value) to which the bizzie said if he did he'd nick him for touting!! The poor fella had ONE ticket to get rid of and had to take the loss on it because of one jobsworth
  3. Cisse??? :losttheplot:
  4. 'I'LL BE KING OF ALL ****S IF I FAIL'] Countdown to the Manchester derby: City v United, tomorrow, 12.45pm Brewers ready for a big night out in Manchester By David Mcdonnell MANCHESTER UNITED new boy Patrice Evra last night admitted: I'll be the biggest c**t on earth if I flop at Old Trafford. The French international left-back has joined Sir Alex Ferguson's side from Monaco in a £5million deal. Evra, 24, is used to playing before crowds of just 10,000 in Monte Carlo and is awestruck at United's set-up and fears he will never have a better chance to do well. "I'm just blown away, impressed and filled with wonder at what I have seen," he said. "United is a completely different world, they take care of the tiniest detail for you. "To be honest, I'll be the king of all c**ts if I can't be a success under such conditions." Link I know it's early days, but it's still funny as f***!! :D

  7. I deffo fancied Kewell for first goal, and he was gonna be that bet with a scorecast elsewhere. He's been really unlucky with a few efforts recenty, and was about due a goal Anyway - I was looking at the odds when my cousin pointed at Kewell 2-0 - at exactly the time I was looking at it. I fancied Kewell for the first goal anyway, so went with it. I said to her at the time that I'm gonna be cursing her after, and I'd tell her why after. Sure enough - Kewell gets the first goal, and my scorecast doesn't come in!! Should have stuck with my first feeling!! At least I get my money back on Lil Luis! In the last 3 scorecasts I've done I've had the right scorer, and been dead close each time: Boro - I had Morientes 3-0 and it was 2-0 Newcastle - I had Gerrard 2-0 (cam in at 55/1) Spurs - I had Kewell 2-0 and it was 1-0 So close but yet so far - Can't retire yet Anyway.... I'm not sure exactly when - I usually get a feeling on the day of the match, but Big Sami is due a goal soon.
  8. Isn't there a bit of history between Jordan and Ronaldo? Either way - the boy done good!

  10. I don't think it's a match worn one, as the sponsor looks too small.
  11. I've got the CD highlights done by Radio City and I've had that in the car for the last week. Aldo going barmy with every goal. At half time when they cut to Phil Easton, all dejected like, and then you hear YNWA starting. The Chelsea game. Carra after the Chelsea game: "it's only the semi final" before going on to say how we've got to win it. Absolute magic :D
  12. I thought he'd signed a pre-contract or something? Not sure how that'd affect things anyway. Surely if it's illegal to sign a contract before you're 17, then it's illegal to sign a contract to say you're going to sign a contract when you are 17, before you are 17. If that makes sense

  17. Colchester away (for a weekend down there with Ben Mc's Uncle in his huge house with lashings of Stella) Or Derby away (My folks are away for a month - happy days) or any easy home game please.

  19. I didn't kknow you didn't have a ticket mate. And anyway - it wasn't until 15.00 that I knew I couldn't go.
  20. Yes. Matty, Ben and Paul were there clear as a bell. Which YPC w***** was feeling like s**** so didn't go the game? Having been feeling more and more run down throughout the week, he dragged his a*** out for a few bevvies on Firday night only to find he couldn't move on Saturday morning and felt like death warmed up. He's slept for about 25 of the last 30 hours, waking only to watch the match on tele!! Yes it was me. Yes I'm gutted. Yes I feel a damn sight better now.
  21. The above has been trotted out many a time, and perhaps it is true. However there is one thing we have gotten from that amazing night in Istanbul that is possibly more important than any of the above. An aura. Even though we were 3-1 down and Luton were the better side at the team we were never beaten. Look in the other threads from the Everton, Spurs and Manc forums. Every one of them mentions Istanbul - even before the comeback started. Listen to the commentary from whatever source, read the papers - the spirit of Istanbul is never far away. And lastly there is the belief. In the fans, in the team, and in the backroom staff that we can turn things around. No matter what the score is this season other teams will be nervous and thinknig we could pull this back. Think back a few years to when we alwasy feared that we'd throw things away. The fans become nervous, which rubs off on the players. The player start getting nervous so do things they wouldn;t normally do. The pressure felt as if it was on us - even though we were winning. Now it's the complete opposite. Everyone else fears that we're going tp pull it back, and that belief we have - couple with the opposition's nervousness is priceless is pulling victories out of the hat that perhaps we'd have lost in recent years. I can't help but shake this feeling something very special is around the corner (sadly I felt the same under Houllier, so I'm no David Hodgson), and a huge factor in it is the mentality we have. If we're 2 or 3 down, all we need is a goal and the opposition, the media, and everyone else think "here we go again". That mental edge is worth something way more than a few more quid in the bank balance, and a so called 'big name player'. Thank God for Rafa!!
  22. Read my sig If you don't get it go to google Type in my sig Press search Think about it And await the sound of a penny dropping
  23. I think we cursed him in The Oakie last week mate!!
  24. If I was Peter Crouch there are times this season I'd have been in their end knocking a few heads together!!
  25. I think McLaren will be the only person in the dressing room shedding any tears. Even his team-mates don't rate him!!
