Players who have scored for 6 Premiership Clubs
Gray - YPC replied to Gray - YPC's topic in General Football Discussion
Blackburn weren't in the Prem when he played for them. The 3 I've got are Ferdinand, Cole and Bellamy. (Cole was highlighted in my first reply as he's also scored for Pompey). Carbone is on 5, Sheff Weds, Bradford, Villa and Boro. I know Ferdinand was the first and that was in 2005, so it must have been since then! I think the Q is wrong and perhaps it's 6 players who have scored for clubs who are now in the Prem, rather than actually scored for them whilst playing in the Prem (if that makes sense?) I hate not knowing the answer to footy questions! -

Try to smash them in the first half hour. Lightening quick tempo, backed by a baying crowd. Try to blow them away early doors, whilst not taking any silly risks. If it's still 0-0 settle back down and play our 'normal' high tempo, pressing European game... trying to dominate, whilst hitting on the break if they have possession. Basically play it like we've played every other big European game at home in recent years!!

I'm sure at one point Keys referred to the match as "Beauty v the Beast". If he means that Liverpool FC are a beast because they have an unparalleled level of success that no-one else can match then he would be correct, however I suspect he didn't mean it like that, therefore he's a c***!!

You going down Mr Gibbons? I'll be about from midday... and the Bus Bench-Presser Mr McC is on The Oakie so is leaving early doors, but going via Edinburgh, Cardiff, Moscow and the North Pole so God knows what time he'll be down in that London...

I thought that Alonso had a belter of a game and saved us in view of the fact Lucas had a bit of a 'mare. Thought he stopped them playing, whilst keeping possession well. He's not been playing to the levels he can do over the past 6 (12?) months, but thought he had a good game on Sunday. Then again... I thought Riise had a good game too, so it shows what I know!!

Lescott is the only who'd get in the first XI Arteta and Cahill in the squad as back up. Yakubu and Johnson in the squad as back up. Howard, Wessels, Ruddy, Turner and Jagielka would all get on the bench ahead of Itanje.

When Mascherano was shown the Red I noticed that Gerrard was stood in the centre circle. With my frustration I started going mad at him calling him for not getting involved and basically yelling that he's the Captain and should be the first to defend our players (which should have started with the Torres booking, never mind the sending off). I stopped watching him, but one of the lads said another player (possibly Carragher) basically went over, tugged his shirt and pointed over to Mascherano as if to say "shouldn't you go and have a word?", at which point Gerrard ran over.

Can't be arsed with trawling through 18 pages, so I'll sum up my thoughts: Bennett was wrong. Tried to be strong after the Riley incident but just showed himself up as weak. He's also a c***. Ferguson conned the ref again. His (and Queerez's) comments after are so hypocritical it's unreal. He persistently does this yet never gets done. If he doesn't get done after his Pompey comments where he questioned the ref's integrity then it's a joke, but then The FA are completely spineless. He is also a c***. Man Utd. In the week when their star player, manager, and assistant manager come out and ask for protection for talented players, they completely undermine this by kicking Torres out of the game. Torres was the victim of numerous fouls, many of them not even given yet no action was taken against the perpetrators. Torres even got booked for being the victim of yet another foul. Man Utd are two-faced, hypocritical, dirty horrible b******s. They are also a shower of c****. The FA. If they want a clampdown, that's fine but we need consistency and some guidelines that are known to refs, managers, players, media and fans. I've seen a thousand players do worse than Mascherano, and not action be taken. Mascherano was perfectly entitled to ask "what's happening?" as Torres' booked was a joke and totally unjustified. Mascherano would have been better advised to have steer clear as he had been booked, and it is a Captain's role to have a word with the ref when we've been wronged. Sadly our Captain was 50 yards away before, during and after the incident (only getting involved when asked to be another player), so it's little wonder Mascherano got involved, as ill advised as it was, as if he didn't who would? The FA, much like Steve Bennett, will no doubt want to show themselves as being tough and will extend the ban for Mascherano. Again, much like Steve Bennett, it will only highlight their weakness. How they can take action for someone going a bit barmy for getting sent off in a huge match for nothing, yet turn a blind eye when a manager (see above) questions the integrity of a referee... surely an offence far worse as saying someone got it wrong is nothing compared to accusations of cheating. They FA are also a shower of c****. Javier Mascherano is BOSS!!

1 player in our team swapped shirts. Riise. He should f*** off and never 'grace' that shirt again. He was f***ing following Rooney round for the last 60 seconds to make sure he got his shirt. I guess he needs the money by flogging it on Ebay!!

I was told a couple of months ago that there are real concerns that Agger may never get back to full fitness again, and comparing it with Rob Jones (though I thought that a knee injury so not sure why they were compared).
