Let's paint them red again with the blood of Tom Hicks...

When's the first Inter Milan game?
-
Think we should purposely chant his name at the next game he starts, give him some encouragement. Stop chasing every ball, hang around the box all game, and just t*** one in.

---------------------- QUOTE(isr;987296) You know what? f*** this s***. I've f***ing had it. Gloves are off now. We have a manager with a proven record of WINNING big trophies. 2 La Ligas, 1 European Cup, 1 UEFA Cup, and 1 FA Cup - all in the last 6 years. We have a manager who is hailed by many, and rightly so, as being a tactical genius. This is a guy who has turned Liverpool around into being a force, a real genuine honest to f***ing goodness force in Europe. Are we nervous ahead of the Inter tie? Yes. You can also bet your bottom dollar that Inter are s***ting a brick at having to play Benitez in a 2 leg Euro tie. I would kindly like to remind you that, despite our history, we have been - for the best part of 15 years (with the honourable exception of 01) - plainly average. How the f*** have so many Liverpool supporters developed amnesia? Something in the half time beer? THE ONLY f***ING REASON WE ARE JUMPING UP AND DOWN AT THE START OF THE SEASON, THINKING WE HAVE A CHANCE OF THE LEAGUE, IS BECAUSE RAFA BENITEZ TURNED LIVERPOOL FROM A DISTINCTLY AVERAGE TEAM, TO EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS - AND RUNNERS UP, IN THREE YEARS. So we're not going to win the League this year. Well, get f***ing over it. With all the s*** Rafa has had to deal with behind the scenes - ON HIS f***ING OWN BY THE LOOKS OF IT - its not surprising. I'm not one of the "Gerrard is a c***" brigade. But honestly, if Stevie, or Carra for that matter, think that THEY know better how to get no.19 to Anfield this season, then I'm sorry - they sound about as clueless about footie as Lawro, Redknapp, and many other ex-players. Rafa is the manager. He is not God. He makes mistakes. Whisper it quietly, but Shanks made mistakes too. f*** it, Bob Paisley misjudged how quickly he needed to rebuild the late 70s side - so we fell from double champions in 79 and 80, to 5th in 81. And in 82, we were lagging far behind by Christmas. But you know what. Bob knew he had misjudged it in 81. He fixed it. We snagged the League in 82, with a great comeback. Because Bob was a top manager. And so is Rafa. If Steve G, Carra, or anyone suddenly thinks that someone who could drag an average Liverpool to Champions League finals year after year is not - THEN THEY'RE WRONG. We are NOT going back to the Spice Boys days. The manager is the boss. The players shut the f*** up and play. The rest of us get behind the manager, and support the team. Thems the rules. Follow them, or f*** off. ----------------------------------------------- Excellent post. No club where the players have too much say and try to undermine the manager is ever successful. Rafa is the boss, and has a proven track record, so Stevie and Carra should stop sulking and concentrate on doing what's best for the team, and getting their own performances back up to the levels of previous seasons. Otherwise Stevie you may as well go to Chelsea or Barcelona and be a pre-madonna there.

His comments tonight about the protest tonight made me angry. You should judge the man by his actions, he was developed by Liverpool who helped him become a professional footballer, then left us for nothing to line his own pockets at Real Madrid. Grade A Tosser.

I'm a massive supporter of Benitez but his refusal to play Crouch is even getting on my nerves. I don't care who doesn't get on with who, no-one is bigger than the club and we're a better team with Crouch in the side. He should play ahead of Kuyt, who's confidence is shot an Rafa's persistence with him is Houllieresque. Liverpool FC comes first and we should field the best possible 11 regardless of personality clashes or anything else.
-
I'd pay off the interest on our debts for a year and four months
-
Isn't that the problem though? Everything he's promised so far he has turned out to be a lie. If we keep falling for the same speel we've only got ourselves to blame.
-
We could do with a good loan deal or bosman for a striker as Torres apart, and with Crouch hardly starting a game for whatever reason, we do look short of quality up front. Is there no-one in the reserve team capable of grabbing this sort of opportunity?
-
That line f***s me off because that's what this has become and now it seems like it's going to drag on even longer. Can't wait until we get rid of these clowns.
-
But you're applying fore-thought, forward planning and reason there, you'll never get a place on our board with that way of thinking...
-
Looking at this photo the cables hanging down on each side and the screen on the Annie Road end seem to restrict the view quite a lot for the top rows: Not that it'll ever get built. I'll never believe a word that t*** says anymore.
-
ahem...we still haven't got a new stadium and Torres was bought using a credit note!

I've decided to unsubscribe from LFC TV until the Americans have gone: "Hi, I enjoy your premier league coverage and the LFC TV channel, but as a Liverpool supporter I have decided not to spend any more money on the club until the American owners have left. Therefore please can you tell me how to go about cancelling my Setanta subscription as I couldn't find a link on your website. Please note this isn't a reflection on Setanta's coverage which I've always enjoyed, and I will re-subscribe as soon as Liverpool FC has new owners. Thanks for your help,"
-
Is there any point emailing the RBS or the Government regarding this or will I just look like a loon? Getting proper worried about this situation now.
-
Other than match tickets I'm not spending a penny on Liverpool FC until the Americans are gone. If people choose to boycott games then I'll do that too.

Nice pass for the goal and he tried hard, but normal service was resumed in the second half. I honestly think he could do with economising his movement a bit as he seems to start off well and then tire and his touch gets worse. It's great showing commitment and chasing every ball, but he should start moving smarter and saving his energy to make darts into the box to score goals.

Sportsweek I think it's worth everyone listening to what was said on sportsweek this morning, as it seems really well informed and gives a good idea of what is happening and how events are likely to unfold. Click on 'Radio' Then click on 'Radio 5live' Then click on 'Sportsweek' The stuff regarding Liverpool is on right at the start.

Well said, my thoughts exactly.

You can't make much money from a football club if you lose the supporters.

It doesn't look like we're going to sign anyone else in the transfer window, but with Agger now being out for the majority of what's left of the season, if Carra picks up a serious injury it leaves us with just Hyypia and the un-tested skrytal
-
Do you think Agger being injured again means we might still bid for Garay?
