  1. Thank you! Looking at the responses, it's good to see that incredulity towards stupidity transcends all club loyalties.
  2. Please tell me what forum thats on, I'd love to read the reactions.
  3. Also slightly amusing is the following Guardian statement: 38 Games already, and thats a marathon? What are we doing then, circum-navigating the globe?

  10. Buy him. He'll walk through virtually every defense in the Premiership.

  12. Rafa did look pretty pissed off last night. And in a roundabout way, thats one of the reasons I like him. You can't just do a Souness or a Ferguson nowadays and scream at multi-millionaires 24/7, eventually they're not going to give a f***. But there's a time and a place for being angry in the dressing room, and it must be that much more effective when you're ordinarily known for your quiet intelligence. And I bet when he wants to Rafa can peel the paint off the walls.
  13. Don't worry Barca will balance it out across the two legs. Apparently at the Nou Camp they're testing this brand new pitch surface, called grass. Jose won't be pleased about that.

  15. This is turning into a thoroughly unpleasent experience. Hang in there Momo
  16. You don't like being called Bitter as its a generalisation. We're none to keen on all being accused of all laughing and joking about Smith. Before the European Cup Final you (correctly) predicted we'd win it and seemed good naturedly resigned to that fate long before most of the Reds on here thought it was going to happen. Thats not the actions of your typical "bitter" fan. Whats making you look like one, and not a small bit obsessed, is suddenly appearing in here quick as a flash to accuse everyone over Smith and Sissoko. Why? I just don't understand the reasoning behind it, did you think it would go down well? I honestly can't see why it would at all concern you but you did it anyways. Unfortunately trying to get something like that rolling on a Liverpool forum means you're outnumbered before you begin and when people take offense they'll start applying your criteria to you, which is whats happening. Do I think your racist? No. Did I think your a "bitter"? No. However if you're happy to accuse me of mocking Alan Smith, then I'm equally happy to label you as being Bitter (as the actions seem to reflect it) and being Racist, amongst numerous other possible terms that both sides can throw at each other. If you're expecting banter then hell this looks like the place for it, but if you're aim is to try and defend yourself by attacking us, I can't see how it'll work out. I imagine I could go onto Bluekipper looking for banter as well, but I fully expect I'd be called a murderer amongst other things, which is why I don't go there.
  17. A minority of people booing and laughing at players injuries are a wider issue then just one club, but some people do seem to like tarring all of those associated with a club with the same brush. If you want to make great big sweeping and generalising statements, you go right ahead, just be prepared to accept the inevitable response. Are all Everton fans racist? Of course not. Did all Liverpool fans boo and sing about Smith? No of course not. You can't have it both ways however. You think we all laughed etc, fine, but accept the fact we'll apply the same criteria to you.
  18. Oh definitely, but since our dear bitter blue comrade decided to start handing out absolutisms and doesn't seem to like the one he's received I thought the least I could do would be to supply him for the information he requested. Actually thats not strictly true, the least I could have done would have just been to type 5-1 and Champions of Europe over and over again, but that didn't seem to productive. You asked for the survey from several years ago, I provided the survey from several years ago.
  19. Ok Wow that was difficult
  20. Apparently we all boo injured players, and every single one of us laughs and sings songs about them as well. It's remarkable the labels that get thrown around isn't it?
  21. It was a blatant red card. Not only had Del Horno taken several kicks at him near the halfway line, but once Messi had dumped Robben on his a***, Del Horno didn't even attempt to play the ball, instead choosing to go straight for Messi, who incidentally had let the ball go because he could see the tackle coming. For Del Horno to then roll around on the floor feigning injury was a f***ing joke. I loved the fact that the Ref waited until he'd had his treatment and was up and alive again before sending him off.
