  1. If they play a 442 that's definitely the way to go. Though I'd rather play Sahin (for Shelvey). And I hate seeing Downing in the team but he's probably the perfect fit for that role based on our options. If they play a 4231 or a 433 we should match their formation though. Because if we keep three at the back against a single forward we're wasting a man in defence. But I don't think there's much chance of us changing from the usual 4-3-3 though.
  2. As he should be doing in that situation.
  3. Reina; Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique; Allen/Lucas - Sahin - Stevie G; Sterling - Suarez - Suso I'd say there are three positions we are weak in when it comes to quality although I realise we lack depth. Two of those positions are now filled by exciting prospects. But what that team lacks IMHO are players who'd do anything to win games. I'd say maybe 4 of them would cheat their way to a win; Skrtel, Agger, Stevie and Suarez. Look at the teams that have won the league throughout the years. They all contained a majority of c**** who'd be willing to tackle and/or cheat their own grandmother to win games. We lack that IMO.
  4. We get up for the derby and for the Big™ games. We have done that for several years. But we can't get a performance against the rest of the league.
  5. Completely agree with this. Neither one of them deserve yet another chance to prove they are useless. Rather give someone from the U18 (or even U16) a chance.
  6. When you need goals you don't leave Downing up front as one of your "attackers". When you need goals you don't keep Stevie playing behind another midfielder (Jonjo in this case). We need to switch to a 4-2-3-1 keeping the three narrow and close to the forward having the fullbacks overlapping. The current kind of 4-3-3 we are playing isn't working as it leaves our striker too isolated as neither the wide forwards nor the advanced midfielder get close enough to Suarez. And I'm very worried about the whole mentality of the club. We don't look like winners out there. We don't seem willing to put up a fight.
  7. Why the f*** can't we hit the f***ing target!?
  8. Any links? Wiziwig aren't showing any
  9. Nadim ‏@DimmyBad Torres has scored 99 goals since moving to England. First one came for Liverpool vs Chelsea. Chelsea play Liverpool in 10 days... It's written in the stars isn't it?
  10. I never put any decent amounts on my bets but getting a 12.5 times the money back is always good. Although I'd prefer to have got the x30 if they'd won in 90min. Which reminds me, what are the best sites for online betting?

  12. Same here. So a bit of money put on both the draw and an Arsenal win. Win-win no matter what.
  13. Our whole defence took a nap during their second goal. Terrible defending.
  14. Spot on. You could add the penalty Suarez should have got to the United game. Three major decisions in that game all went against us.
  15. Calciopoli. Only in England.
  16. Which hints at something other than the situation before the lino being the reason he flagged. Lino's put their flag up by instinct. If he needed to think he wasn't sure = should not give an offside.
  17. They aren't. They're corrupt.
  18. Does anyone have a gif/video that shows when the lino flagged for offside?
  19. "Disclaimer: Remember that these are only decisions actually made by the ref, hence no "should have had a penalty there". I only count the incidents where the referee makes a decision to minimize the amount of incidents per game." My hypothesis is that other calls, like the ones you mention, will follow the same ratio as the ones I put on the list. The ref didn't act on those incidents so they don't get onto the list. So yes, there are a hell of a lot of other incidents that have gone against us but I'm trying to limit these to only match-changing debatable decisions the referees actually act on.
  20. West Brom Penalty nr 1. Debatable decision gone against us. Penalty nr 2. Debatable decision gone against us. Man City: None Arsenal None Sunderland Suarez penalty claim: Decision made to book instead of giving the penalty - gone against us. ManU Shelvey sent off: Debatable decision gone against us. Manc penalty: Debatable decision gone against us. Norwich Suarez penalty claim: Not even debatable. Clear penalty that wasn't given. Reading None Stoke None Everton Suarez match-winning goal. Wrongly disallowed for offside. (Please remind me if there are other incidents... I'm still too pissed off for an objective look at things). So far: 0-7 in this. Disclaimer: Remember that these are only decisions actually made by the ref, hence no "should have had a penalty there". I only count the incidents where the referee makes a decision to minimize the amount of incidents per game.
  21. Haha, f***ing autocorrect. OK, sorry for implying you were a manc. Might have been a slight overreaction.
  22. Was good to see that. Now they need to keep up the pressure on him.
  23. Are you not watching or have you never watched a liverpool game before? Or are you a manc?
  24. Ian Ladyman ‏@Ian_Ladyman_DM Do not expect all of man utds players to wear the T-shirts today. #kickitout #mufc
