Would actually be interesting trying Degen out for Arbeloa who hasn't exactly been bad but if Degen is as good going forward as i hope he is it might worth a shot. Babel would be an obvious substitution if things don't improve as well. And will Dossena please just put the f***ing ball in.

Played in his 'natural' position yday. Had a fine game he did. Always thought he was a decent striker myself, as long as he was playing alongside someone more technically skilled. Keane probably does the trick in that aspect. Dirk will always lack a bit coolness in front of goal though perhaps one of the reasons he didn't put one in the back of the net. Oh, and Skrtel was MOM

Haven't been to Anfield in eight years, but as I'm graduating soon and hopefully get a decent job I can finally afford going this spring; I'm bound to have a camera with me. However I can't see myself snapping photos during the match and I certainly would not have the presence to do it during goal celebrations. But I do remember me doing it at Camp Nou (Barca vs. Deportivo) two years ago for the fun of it. I guess if your not a "super-fan" and not too bothered by the result and everything that goes on the pitch you're probably more bound to take some touristy photos. It's probably just something you have to live with. People have paid for their tickets and as long as they are not bothering other folks (like standing in front of them) there is really not a lot to do. Some will unavoidably come for the Anfield experience, it being one of the most famous football grounds in the world, not necessarily to support Liverpool or our opponents on the day. Much like I did going to Barca. No excuse for leaving early imo.

Agree with Andy Gray that the Aurelio/Riera combo is looking very good at the mo.

Benny's probably been our weakest link today (again). However he has shown improvement today, hasn't been crap as many here suggests. As for Kuyt I think he is having one of his better games of late, definitely more comfortable in the striker position. If we could play with the same intensity and pace every game like today (bar perhaps the first 10 minutes when we were out of it) games like the Aston Villa one recently would be easily won.

For what it's worth we played better than man u the last 15 mins. We could win this no doubt. Would love to see Fernando in there.

Wonder if our bench would actually beat out starting XI today?

Pretty desperate attempt of them trying to qualify for the UEFA cup. But a decent player none the less, will deffo improve their team.
