While I do agree with your sentiments to a certain degree you've pretty much hand-picked the worst players in our team and the best players in Juve's. The s***tyness of Baros and particularly Riise is sometimes exaggerated on the this forum I feel. Wouldn't mind having Milan as backup striker ahead of a few others in our current squad. Riise, a long serving member of this club, played countless very good games for us. He did go a bit bad during his last years with us - we have definitely upgraded with Insua and Aurelio, but still... I think Benayoun has become the replacement of Garcia that we hoped he would be. Took a season or two for him to reach that point but I'm quite happy with him now and he isn't a helluva lot worse than Garcia was back then.

Zenden was past it already when he played for us. Being released by Marseilles only to be picked up in October isn't exactly a merit in my book.

How about bringing him in as cover for Masch for the rest of the season and then move him on to some sort of management/scout/etc. Great player for us he was. However I must admit during his first half a season or so for us I thought he was absolute pants and could never understand why he hell we signed him.

Personally I think a club helicopter would be f***ing fantastic and money well spent.

As soon as he was declared fit Denmark would always be there picking him up. Their game on Saturday is a massive one and he is by far the best CB in the country. Hopefully this will make him 100% match fit again sooner as opposed to jeopardising hit fitness or even injure him again.

Been one of Carra's most fierce critics of recent, but thought he did ok today myself. Decisiveness further upfield is what cost us today, not our defenders.

Dokken got suspended for the rest of the season (ie about a months ban). Keeper Christensen got freed in the Swedish FA today, which I think is a bit lenient. Not a huge crime, but acting within 'the spritit of the game' he should have gotten a game or two on the sidelines for cheating imo.

Or just play Fabio whenever he is fit. Would leave Insua with plenty of playing time.

That would mean the likes of Degen, N'Gog etc ahead of the really young ones. Sorta like the line-up above. Will do for me, badly want to see Babel perform most of all.
