thought it was a slight trip..anyway.. spurs are acting like they are champions already. and i hate to say this but...i have seen crouch called for fouls when he was playing for us is not get called now for the same stuff he is doing now to our players....

exactly. i got a few friends who are spurs fans and i am just itching to shoot them an email on their club's demise but am holding back. their talks about winning the league when their results were going for them at the start of the season and "bale = best winger on the planet and yet only playing 60% of his potential" pissed me to no end.

We have not got into any rhythm at all. Ref obviously doesnt help but we need to pass it around quicker. Cole in for Raul might be an option at the 65-70 min mark if we havent scored. we seriously need to buy like at least three left sided players this transfer season...

4th is a very big ask. After a disastrous first half of the season, a top 6 this season will do for me. p.s though it will thrill me to no end to see spurs not end up with a champs league spot, cant stand their fans.

Dirk definitely cant play the lone striker role. He spends more time in our half than the opponents every time he does that.

So you think he was plotting this all along? under the circumstances, i think nesv/comolli did well. i would also like to believe they had already shortlisted carroll as a potential striker to buy, just maybe not at this price.

good post. we really need to look past (as difficult as it is) Carroll's fee - it cannot and should not be viewed in isolation. we would never have put in such a high bid if not for the Torres sale price and the urgency of having more than one first team striker for the next 14 games.
