  1. Also the fact that £50M is a huge fee for a lad who is a bit funny looking.
  2. He'd have been great for us this season
  3. Equally mad was that 3/4 minute period when Virgil decided to hang out in Fulham's box on Saturday. Went up for a corner and decided he'd stay for a bit.
  4. Building a massive stadium, winning a trophy, finally getting rid of Levy and spending nearly 200M and then going down is the most Spurs thing imaginable. And being relegated in 18th is just one place lower than last season's finish. If they get 8 points from their last 6 games, they'll have the same points total as last year. We, on the other hand, are thirty two points off last season with six left to play.
  5. No, they're Spurs
  6. Arsenal bottling it and Spurs relegated is the funniest of all possible outcomes. Not sure either is as embarrassing as our season, mind.
  7. I just have a bit of the Galatasaray feeling, that the opposition had as much to do with it as we did. We did look good early on, but had nothing second half.
  8. I sort of know what you mean, but had they put away a chance, we'd have crumbled. We hardly had a clear chance after our goals too.
  9. That's about the best thing that's happened all season. Go on. kid
  10. Finally looking like we have a bit of depth, if you ignore form and recent history
  11. Spurs are after him to bring a bit of character and experience to a young squad, they've said as much.
  12. And we won't be getting on any planes for the rest of the season
  13. Looking at last night, you wonder if he saw 3-5-2 as the plan, with Guehi left of the 3 Two strikers, Frimpong, Wirtz as 10, it all sort of fits.
  14. Just to save Face
  15. If we just boot it into touch, we can force Fulham to take all the throws
  16. Robertson, Milner, Pennant, Kyrgiakos, whoever
  17. Yeah, but as an interim, if it's the choice between a manager who has totally lost the team versus a lad who will keep it simple and give them some vibes, then at this point, I'll take the latter. I've never been a supporter of Gerrard getting involved with managing the team in any way, but things are that bad that it starts to become an option.
  18. Ultimately, he'd just be coming in to say "come on lads, lets f***ing get stuck in to these" I don't hate that.
  19. not much else they cam do to rip the soul out of the team at this point. maybe a blue home shirt
  20. I don't think he produced much, but he was the only one coming close to doing so. He created that chance for Frimpong, and put Ekitike through right before he went off. Was kind of hoping to see him with isak for a few mins, tbh.
  21. Yeah, but they have Diaz
  22. Shouldn't have to be relied on as our only striker, he's a kid
