  1. i dont believe that, broke down while revving up to leave the garage.
  2. well, we never saw him play so that can be binned. Straight manager role
  3. maybe he could come back and bring Pep back too.
  4. With Ange we would win a trophy in 27, but maybe the championship?
  5. I am always a positive person but I think he thought it was too easy, we walked the league, and bought loads of big name players. if course he is entitled to have a holiday and a good time, but he admitted recently he partied a lot in the summer - maybe he didnt work hard enough planning for this season?

  8. Djouf must be within spitting distance of this list
  9. We do need to ensure we don’t let Haaland get a run behind the defence , he has been superb running onto balls and getting in behind the CBs
  10. We need to get it left to expose him.
  11. VVD is not bad

  13. As a defender when your team is winning it helps confidence a huge amount.
  14. Thinking more about the team selection, I am pleased he kept to his guns and didn't 'panic' and lay players he didn't want to due to the slump. I am assuming he had a plan to rest them and the losses didn't derail him.
  15. If slot does go , maybe get Andrew in- he’s good with youngsters and Liverpool Being anti royal family won’t have an issue….and he won’t sweat under pressure.
  16. if we played them we would have lost 3-0 too no matter what happened on the pitch.
  17. Those that played would/will have recovery day etc. Mo etc will be able to have a full session today and probbaly did yesterday (I am not excusing what he did BTW)
  18. What did we gain last night To me nothing. But maybe it’s more than resting players from a game, having a whole week of training may be good for them. We will only know in the coming weeks.
  19. getting to any final and winning is good. I don't remember the years, but we have had some great nights in the LC, going back ages, away at Spurs, home to Arsenal and Leicester more recently - chaotic games which have been good fun. Certainly helped the likes of Kelleher
  20. but he can finish players
  21. Was the VVD one given as the freekick was already awarded, and all they 'VAR' did was move where the foul took place?

  23. i was just looking up which club - you saved me a job - cheers
  24. Last season with a smaller squad, we didn't rotate much, and we we had a settled team with players knowing who was doing what. Now we have new players, an enlarged squad, loss of form and a manager who is trying to get it right by changing things all the time. Maybe he should keep (basically) the same 11 for 2 to 3 games to get rhythm. Mo not being Mo, is obv the headline, but Mac Allister being way off to me is a bigger problem for overall team structure and control. I was never happy with so many signings, but then again, I also thought Bradley wouldn't be too much of a drop from Trent - maybe he flattered to deceive last season, trying to get a place in the team, now he has one, he not as focussed?
