  1. I have now aslo read the whole 8 pages. Andy, what is actually WRONG with OOT'ers? If they have seaaon tickets and go every week etc. Forget the past few years when I have been quite a few thousand miles from Liverpool, but for the 15years before that I went to nearly all home games from London, doesn't that make me as much a fan as someone who lives in Liverpool? I am not going to get my old programmes out now, but didnt we get attendances of approx 9,000 in mid 80's for early league cup rounds? As for auctioing off the old stuff...will Rafa buy any lamps?
  2. This link to the ILSA has some answers. http://www.ilsa.org.uk/parrygroundanswers.html Out of date a bit though.
  3. I am embarassed to say I don't remember for sure...... My first game at Goodison was the FA Cup semi v Man Utd, the 2-2 draw. I think my first Derby there was the 1-0 defeat to stop us breaking the unbeaten run record...we equalled the (then) record at Derby a few days before. Horrible place that was then, I have never seen so many police for an away team, it was worse than going to Millwall around the same time. There was history between Liverpool and Derby police due to the miners. I f I am talking s*** pleae correct me on the politics of the mid/late 80's.
  4. We all know one person who should have seen him at Melwood, but he doesn't post on this site. I heard he is doing light training and will be playing again in 2 weeks, but am not sure if that means playing with kids or ready for 1st team.

  8. Tonight (Monday), National Geographic at 9-00pm ADELAIDE TIME (The rest of you work out your local time), a programme called playing away. It's about Aussies playing overseas, the ad had loads of Craig Johbston, so could be good.
  9. The fact is, he played well in the World Cup - no-one can argue with that. That will be the first time a lot of people in Aus took much notice of him. My opinion, he is a good player to have in the squad, he's not being bought to start every game, but as cover he will do at that price. Lots of people don't like him, fair enough but if he wears red we all need to support him, especially when he breaks Neville's leg. This summer has been great for mixed opinions on signings, with Bellamy and Pennant not wanted by masses as well.
  10. I thought all Action Men were plastic.....
  11. I can probably help, email me and I will pass your message on with all contact details you let me have. I dont want to publish the peoples names and contact details on here as they will then get bombarded and that is unfair.
  12. I dont have the icon for tongue in cheek
  13. Liverpool, however, would consider only a permanent move for Kewell, who has two years of a £60,000-a-week contract remaining at Anfield. Kewell's agent, Bernie Mandic, said last night: "There has never been a single word from anyone at Liverpool about Harry leaving." I am pleased that the press have the same quote (Not word for word) that Mr Mandic gave me, which I posted :-) He is the only agent I have contact details for, but he always replies, I have a lot of time for him. Agents don't lie so...... he will probably be off soon!!!!
  14. Elisha Scott ex keeper and of YNWA fame plays with Steven Gerrard....does that help take it back at all?
  15. And stopped the Aussies winning the WC!!! In fact his foul against the Italians stopped the Sheilaroos going on about being the best in the world......so he has some good points
  16. Is Bruce the hunting lodge owner? Any idea what Ronnie Whelan is doing these days? Check out the hairstyle section on his front page, and choose Afro. Mark Wlaters.....oh dear!
  17. http://www.craigcullen.co.uk/asp/club84.asp?club=Liverpool The searches on there are great. He obviously has too much time on his hands....
  18. Are you sure it isn't because the club always look after OOT fans before their own...he says trying to start another forum war!!!!
  19. So does anyone know if he was rested, injured or just not good enough (!) to be in the 16 for Saturday?
  20. For the past few years Liverpool (well TWI) have produced a show that is sold to any country that wants it, I havent worked out why you can't get it in the UK, even by streaming.
  21. Maybe we should charge 3500 pounds to be a mascot
  22. Yeah the press are annoying F**kers. You can tell they know nothing from what they write. I am sure it has been mentioned on here but you know which R5 Live commentator has his seat near the press box dont you? He goes with his son and an older guy.
  23. And I am drinking vintage red*.... there is nothing vintage about them. *Ok that may not be 100% accurate but it's OK for a Tuesday night!!!
  24. Don't encourage me, I've been on the wine and may carry on trying to be funny.
  25. I couldnt agree more, I think there has only ever been one player I got depressed about seeing play...Bruno Cheryou. I went to most home games for 15 years and never gave anything but my full support for every player who played for us, all I wanted was us to win. Yes I got frustarted with them but I always believed they were giving their all and needed support not abuse. I have found (Obvioulsy I don't go anymore) since the Internet and forums (!) fans moan more and more. I used to sit in the Main Stand and it was OK, not much (oK, none)singing went on but where I was nearly everyone had been going for years and were passionate about the reds. It's the Paddock I used to find was a bad area for 'new' fans.
