Running v late, will be on here by this time tomorrow. I haven't got round to sharing it yet......apologies.
-
You can download Google Calendar to iCal. At lunchtimeish Aus time I will send you a link to my cal.
-
crap result and we cant score but other than that we did OK. I am gutted but let's not throw the towel in.
-
I will say this in simplistic terms...if we win we have dropped less points than Chelsea...therfore there is NO WAY this game is a must win.
-
Couldnt agree more. I think it was 1985/6 Man Utd won their first 10 and ended up 5th. Getting off to a flyer doesnt ALWAYS mean you win the league. Arsenal have started worse than us and could well lose on Sunday too. I wouldn't count them out. If we lose, the a*** lose is it a 2 horse race - not in my book? The other team who apparently could get into the Cl is Tottenham they haven't started well either...... While i am on about it Newcastle were way in front for 8 months of a season until they faltered under KK...lets all stay calm (and bloody hope we dont lose on Sunday!!!)

Pictures of us winning?
-
Will, I don't know anyone in any of the pictures, one day I will spot a face I recognise I am sure. But can I take it you work in a field that takes an interest in roofs and ceilings
-
Roman will then just take out the rest of the league with bigger bombs!

F**** ridiculous post an totally out of context. I used to be a 'super fan' but am now an OOTer, so f***** what? I was about to type the same as AR but he got in first. So if we lose on Sunday we can no longer challenge, what garbage. If we lose on Sunday and then go on an unbeaten 27 game run, we will ahve lost 2 out of 29....I think will be challenging if that scenario comes up. Too may idiots these days only worry about the next game, Rafa is palnning for a whole seaosn.

The TV games came out before CL. I think we are getting carried away with the problem. The fans get more of a rough deal than the team, does 2 and a half hours make much difference to their preparation? Years ago the palyers used to struggle with travel much more when coming back from places like Tblisi and then playing, now they have their own plane, all mod cons, and are well looked after. I have no symapthy for players, they earn very good money and should IMO opinion be able to play 2 full games each week. They only train a few hours a day and have so much free time it is a joke. Arsenal in 1980 played 70 games as they had multiple replays in cups (including us in the semi). I dont think any player plays that much now. Also players never say they are tired, it is a myth they are IMO. TV has made the players rich so we should let them have a big say in when games are played. Rant over!!!

My mistake, I Knew utd had one last week but I didn't think they had that many. I do think that we (as a club) have some say on kick offs, we have had very very few Monday night games at Anfield over the years, we were always against them. And the club still (Unless they stopped last season) will offer a refund to ST Holders who cant get to the games on a Monday night) I am not sure if anyone has ever taken them up on this but if you tell them in good time you cant go because of the change they will refund you and then happily resell the seat.

Why not put the big Pole in goal? Reina has looked a bit shaky and the big thing is AS will not be happy seeing him back against him!!!

Aldridge on Talks**** re: Rafa's team choice

What's the link to F.Shepherd's home site???? Just say he picks Kuyt and Bellamy on Sunday and they both score and we win 3-0 I think he will stay with them for the next game, not one partnership (yet) this season has looked on fire so he is happy to change around. There will always be rotation but if/when we start winning regularly I think we will settle a bit more. But at present he wants to keep all the squad fit and ready - except Salif of course. -
I think we have more early rather than late ones (5-15) due to us in Aus who can watch the game at a decent hour My comments to Sky and Parry must have been listened too!!! Seriously I think that more people watch lunchtime games (fans in pubs going to 3pm games too) rather than 5-15 hence the best teams playing then.

Maybe they thought he was our old Tommy!!!

Who has an email address for retail complaints then?
downunder replied to AE 's topic in Liverpool FC
got the address. WIll be in touch tomorrow. Cheers -
NO. This one is Irish Smyth(e?)

We could get this Brazillian ref!!!! A Brazilian referee faces suspension on Tuesday after she awarded a goal that television pictures showed was scored by a ball boy. Pictures showed that after a Santacruzense player shot narrowly wide in the 89th minute, the boy collected the ball with his feet, took it back on to the pitch and tapped it across the line into the net. Ladies shouldn't be reffing anyway.....

I thought you wre too big for babs kit! Drop me a line and I will help if I can. -
I knew all the above, except I didn't know that there was a 5min delay, afte all when we watch US Sports here there is no delay to talk of, so the fact there is 2 conversions shouuldn't make it a 5min delay. Anyhow it's better than nothing. I doubt if anyone will be watching ESPN in Aus tomorrow, SBS are showing the same game.......
-
In Aus the picture froze a lot (assuming it did with everyone watching ESPN round the world), but how come after it froze for say 10secs the game went forward at least a minute? Was there that much of delay......we didnt even see Alonson coming on, suddenly he was theer though. As for the commentators, my 2 cats talk more sense than them...but then that may be because one of them is called Rafa

Bring back Clive Thomas I say.....

This quote is from an email from Bernie Mandic to me last week. Interesting what he asasy about Harry's fitnes, no metion of him being in Aus (I am not saying he isn't here mind you)... Apologies for not getting back to you earlier but the transfer window had me quite busy – not at all in anyway with Harry I am pleased to say. No club apart from LFC is an option for Harry. As long as they really want him he will be there. No idea when he will be playing again – up to the LFC medical staff.
-
I take it you are winding us up, Riise had to be booked - on stretcher or not and Reina was clearly at fault - he would admit to that.

Good question...but we know it isn't...it's free to access!!!
