  1. It'll be Rashford, Bellingham or Saka, for obvious reasons.

  5. He looks like the corpse of an elderly mole rat.
  6. I prefer...
  7. Can you imagine how confused Jurgen would be at Gibbo's drunken slurring?
  8. Surely we collectively have manifesting powers close to Swipe's individual manifesting ability?
  9. I just can't see a world where we can sign Olise unless he really wants to come back to England. He's got several years on his contract, would command a massive transfer fee, probably more than Isak, and is at a club with pretty much guaranteed trophies. Plus Bayern pay big boy wages as well.
  10. There's going to be s*** involved in the description of our performance in some capacity, I would imagine.
  11. Plus we get into the whole "greatest footballer versus greatest player" debate. Like George Weah has transcended the game entirely and I expect that Salah might do the same. Same reason I think Cruyff should be held in higher regard than Pele or Maradona.
  12. I certainly don't think that there's a lot of competition. Mane is probably in with a shout as well to be fair.
  13. Just to start off, I'm not saying that Boon was wrong, but it's definitely a debate. Take Eto'o for example. Averaged 1 in 2 for Cameroon Posted better than 1 in 2 at club level for Mallorca, Barca, Inter, and Anzhi for 11 consecutive seasons. Better goals per game in European competition. Won more league titles Won more Champions Leagues Won more AFCONs Won more African Player Of The Year awards More African Team of the Year appearances All time AFCON top goal scorer. On the downside though, he did play for Everton. Also the only player in the modern game to have come close to matching Messi/Ronaldo level? Do Mbappe and Haaland not exist?
  14. Interesting to see that Quansah dropped out of the England squad and Ben Orange was called up instead. Trent getting pied all over the shop by everyone.
  15. Yeah, but that song is dead good. That and the Luis Diaz song are two of the best that I can think of in maybe the last decade.
  16. Ooh, I'd say that's contentious. What elevates him above the likes of Eto'o, Yaya Toure, Weah, Drogba, Essien etc? I don't think there's particularly a standout choice there, but there are African players with more trophies, more continental and international success, and more awards than Mo.
  17. He was alright, this lad. Reasonable goal scorer. Should have signed Julian Brandt instead though. He's on a free this summer.
  18. We're playing Fulham on the same day that they're supposed to play Lens.
  19. Saudi it is then!

  21. £150k is deranged for the amount that he's used. Was there not a conversation where Arne Slot went "ok, but I'm not going to play him if you do sign him"? Even on the assumption that he wouldn't take a pay cut, loads of teams in Italy could afford to pay that. There were rumours that Vlaovic was on over 300k. You'd have to think that the likes of Bastoni, Lautaro, Lukaku, Thuram, Barella, Dybala, De Bruyne, Modric, Jonathon David etc are on more than 150k.
  22. It's genuinely deranged that anyone thinks that Max Downman or Rio Ngomoha should go to the World Cup. They're children. Let them grow and be actually ready for international football. England actually have a really good squad already, they don't even need them.
  23. Arsenal fans cryarsing all over social media? Nah, seems really out of character, I don't believe it.
  24. Do we reckon he's on *that* much? It seems odd that we would pay out a massive salary to a player who his previous club were desperate to get rid of for a bargain fee, the current coach doesn't rate at all, and has a really iffy injury record. As "sensible" people, it would make more sense for him to have got a decent signing on fee and a heavily incentivised contract. I'd be really surprised if he was on six figures because that wouldn't make any sense as a business decision.
  25. I bet Xabi is sitting on his a*** on a sun lounger somewhere having a lovely time with his massive Real Madrid pay off.
