Pretty much. He had his quite extraordinary champagne moment but he was then immediately replaced. He wasnt great was he. Mignolets had a few great games. Ok, maybe s*** is a bit strong, but he was bang average.
Maybe his reputation (which was incredibly good) wasn't based on a couple of minutes of Youtube clips, more strong performances over a season. Give the lad a run, the alternative has sailed. We won No.5 with a s*** keeper, you never know.
I cant recall a player causing such polar opposite and divided opinion on him. There's pretty much a consensus on most players, but not with this lad. I still think he's the makings of a world beater, some say get shut and no great loss. It's an odd one.
It's getting on for a week, can it really take that long. And there doesnt appear to be a sniff of anything whatsoever either way in the media which is interesting when you recall the s*** storm around Suarez. Is that good or bad?
He wasnt for sale was he? So we say he's not for sale, but if you want him give us £200m. January we sell him for £150m and they have negotiated a massive discount? Haha.
I agree they did, but that doesnt mean it didnt feel about the right fee at the time. Im not sure many of us were saying we've ot him for half price here. Were we?
Was Salah a bargain or did it seem about right at the time. But then we all realised inside a month he was worth a s*** ton more (through a combination of his and Klopps brilliance perhaps?).
Deary me. 7 months of them pleading with us to sell doesnt constitute "negotiation". You are seriously suggesting theyve done this over and above Klopp arent you. It's utter nonsense. He says he tried to keep him but it wasnt possible in the end, so how is that FSG? Utterly bizarre..
