Get in Bayern

It’s a bad injury, remember a lad doing his achilles tendon playing 5 a side, sounded like snapping a big stick over your knee. He was in absolute agony so hopefully Ekitike gets lucky and it’s a small tear.

I’d sooner we get it (and give Slot the Spanish archer) as well be able to attract a better calibre of player, especially now he’s damned us as a ‘selling club’.

I don’t doubt there’s a player there, but some of those stats are very questionable. Sprints vs intensive runs? What contributes to a ‘goal contribution’? A pass somewhere in the build up?

For me, 135m player has the gall to think you know what, f*** the manager here I’m going to go and make this game my own. He just doesn’t, the PL is a big step up and doubtless this manager isn’t getting anything from him but I think he just has to have more about him.

Comparatively you’d be looking at Virge and Szobo getting a start for their side based on this seasons performances, Konate a maybe but not for my money, rest are lucky to do a bench tbh.

He’s not strong, quick or in any way good defensively. Mac has been terrible this season but Wirtz isn’t a CM you’d want doing that role akin to Szobo or Grav, least of all against a midfield three like theirs.

You don’t half talk some b******s.

Not much other option really, can’t play Wirtz there and Jones is dire.

Blame the keeper all you like, we can’t cross a decent ball when in yards of space, make simple five yard passes or pick out a man and take a decent touch in the box. Szobo poor at the end but he’s goosed and rightly so as he’s carried this s***e midfield all year and ended up stuck at f***ing RB all too often.

I know, but the intensity is better and but for some luck from Marquinhos and better final ball around their box it could be a different scoreline.

Not pretty but better than last week…

Silly tackle Mac

Can only be to hold the ball up. Big gamble as Isak will be goosed by HT if not before. Wirtz needs the game of his life.

Don’t know why we bother having Wirtz defending corners he’s awful at it.

Fantastic goal that, well in lad.

He’ll go I reckon, a year left on his contract and the club will cash in.

We need three points from every home game as a bare minimum and potentially Villa away, already dreading the derby and the mancs away.

Hell of a statement that

Agreed, I think again what’s so galling almost every game this season is none of the others pick up on any of it. Not one tackle motivates the rest, one player trying to beat a man or aggressively close the oppo down. Nobody seems to want to grab any moment of the game and use it to turn it around. The players are so done with this clown they don’t have the will to try anything different.

It’s the total lack of any coordination though isn’t it, first twenty Szobo was running his a*** off pressing alone to no avail, much like Wirtz in stages. It’s pointless if it’s not a team effort, just mindlessly running players into the ground.
