    And that s***-show has left us with one 33 year old player to fill a key position who also misses a month of the season where there is a super congested run of fixtures. Regardless of whether the club wanted to loan / sell him or not, without securing any form of replacement it’s just another shambles by the club.

    Still made no sense to loan him out if we were adamant about sticking to 4-3-3 with no backup or long-term replacement for Mo secured. Season has been a shambles.

    I’m not optimistic, we’ve already fluffed two big signings from Palace and Bournemouth. Salah and Robbo certain to be off, Mac I’m unsure about and bound to be interest from abroad in Szobo if there isn’t already. VVD a year older, Ali could fancy a huge pay day. It’s grim.

    He does, but just can’t get my head around the thinking for this season. We’ll recoup his wages for the season when he leaves. It’s going to be a f***ing sad exit.

    He needs rest after another AFCON, we can’t play Frimpong there now because we have no defenders, and the only other natural option we let go on loan to Villa where he’s scratched his a*** on the bench all season.

    Credit to Rio he certainly looked no worse than Gakpo or Salah. Could have gone down and won a pen easily, at least he showed a bit of b******s.
