Actually, he was ommitted from the group stages, but back in in the knockout comp. And Sami left because he wanted to play every week. Which he wouldnt here.

Who was it that thought Ayala should never again be even on the bench for Liverpool after his debut? He may need matches, and obviously experience, but he looks like a top flight player to me. Rather sell Skrtel.

I agree with his perspective, but actually agree. No good if he keeps keep repeating his POVs about Rafa when he is gone and not coming back. Hope Fanning moves on, as he always has been one journo I actually read and respect.

I thought so too. Looked less and less like his old fiery self. I still would have liked him to stay, but maybe it was for the best that he left.

I voted no, but have changed my mind. Hoping this will turn out fine, and will defend him against all those who want him fired by the end of july.

Good point about Kenny, but I dont get why sven isnt an option, or why its "comedy". He has experience and knowledge far better than the other candidates, despite what the english press has fed usthe last few years.

I heard theat Mourinho wants to come here... Sammy Lee to be caretaker boss until sept 1., unable to spend ANY money, then we get Martin O'Neill. I dont think our best players will be too happy with that.

Whats even more depressing than G&H these days, is the fact that I cant stand half of my fellow supporters. Bitter, stupid, classless the lot of them. I could take standing in the cold away at Lincoln City in div 2 for a while if I was with supporters I liked and respected. I dont.

Nothing would please me more than if we signed Kjaer, seems perfect for us. I choose to believe all the hype. Ive never seen him play, btw. Which is great if he signs for someone else.

Rafa got loads of grief last sason for that as well, remember? That he should have risked more against teams that park the bus. I thought it was pretty funny going on TLW and see all the insane posts about how s*** Rafa is, in what I thought was an impressive season. Not so this year... -

Excellent post, but the bit in bold is completely wrong. After every game, every time a player/manager says something, if Lucas is good/poor or if Aqualani plays, there are tons of "told you so" posts, like they just won the lottery. Boring beyond belief, like their posts on a message board have convinced the players or Rafa what to do next.

Which clubs are regarded as "massive" change faster than ever before. If we have G&H with Sammy Lee as boss for a while, Liverpool will only be a big name in a few peoples minds. Depressing, isnt it.
