Covered his backside well there, with the 'but there are few clubs bigger than Liverpool' bit I wouldnt begrudge Pepe a move to someone like Barcelona, i'd miss him and want him to stay but there'd be no ill feeling if he went.

Well, to be honest, if he was being pushed because he's not good enough by the manager, then fair enough. But he seems to be being pushed because of his wages. It's football, not Monopoly.

It was obviously relatively speaking. Playing for a sh*te side, obviously you'll make more saves and probably look more impressive on MOTD. But aside from the concentration factor, which is the main difficulty, playing in goal for a side that dominates possession to that extent, is a piece of p*ss. Relatively speaking - remember that, eh?
