Most of the summer signings are looking good. Not sure a huge amount was really wasted, to be fair.

Thinking towards Sunday. Bigger game and much better opponents. Need our key attacking players fresh. Score a goal tomorrow night and it's basically done. Lallana, Borini & Balo, with Ibe and Moreno on each flank, more than capable of getting us a goal.

Dyche getting praised for his honesty but it's b*llocks really. If the situation was reversed, he'd have been screaming for penalties & red cards.

It does, figuratively. Satisfies, that is. Doesn't prove though, because that's generally impossible. Hence why I find the nuance of the rule to be a bit weird.

It's not as simple as that though. You get the ball hitting an arm that might be stretched out. That still doesn't prove intent, although it's often used as a barometer for intent. Obviously a player might be stretching his arm out deliberately to make himself a bigger target but it's not entirely definitive. Refs have to partially go on guesswork or probability which goes against the notion of "if you're not 100% sure, you can't give it".
