That's fair enough and I genuinely wasn't thinking of you when I posted. To de-personalise it completely, an Ar5e fan here at work - let's call him Ashley He was sh***ing himself on Monday about the game against Madrid, by Tuesday he was genuinely feeling sick and on the day of the game he couldn't speak to anyone about anything. And then when I saw him yesterday he was worried about the draw and who they might get next, genuinely worried. And now he is walking round as though his world has ended. Even more so if you point out that they could beat Juve, "yeah, but then look who we'd have to play". FFS.

Any examples? Apart from the night before the game in Cologne (Leverkusen) last season, I haven't heard any such stories. Rafa was eating in a private room when various reprobates hounded him after the Chelsea 2nd Leg semi-final, although Paco, Xabi and Luis were in the public areas.

Why not throw Terry forward and bring on Wright-Philips to get the balkl to him - take off Makelele or similar. With 15/10 minutes to go and needing two goals when the tactics employed have not looked likely to work all night, why was there no 'caution to the wind' approach?? It makes no sense at all. The Chelsea fans I know and work with are fuming. They don't feel like the team gave it a real go.
