Kev, you got a mention on Radio 5. Alan Green and Graham Taylor were dicussing something or other and it was completely drowned out by you making an announcement. Green was really laughing and asked Taylor if he'd repeat what he said as YOU had ruined it. Taylor said he wouldn't bother as "the stadium announcer was probably talking more sense". He's obviously never met you.

They beat us last week and then League leaders Porto at the weekend. But I agree they are there for the taking next week.

It was cold. Carson played first half and kept a clean sheet, only called into action once and made a decent save. Of the others, Bentley scored twice and looked ok. Routledge is very small and bandy, couldn't stop a pig in a passage. But he's bloody quick. Didn't look that skilful (and against limited opposition) but was involved in setting up one of Bentley's goals. Other than that, Hudddlestone (of Spurs) was excellent. He looks a real player. And he's a fookin giant, absolutely massive. Played in a Didi type role and was the dog's b*llocks - the oppo was of course not that great but you could just see he had more about him than anyone else on the pitch. I was impressed. Will be interested to see how he develops. The rest were much of a muchness. Oh and it was cold.
