True, but how much of his problem is mental. I'm sure Brendan and the Doctor could get him back at least to half the player he was at his best.

I don't quite understand why Liverpool would try to sign Cavani, bearing in mind that he accused Brendan of going back on his word by not allowing Suarez to leave last season. We might as well beg Torres to come back (in fact, it might be a better (and cheaper) option as cover for Sturridge). There again, it might be the Strongbow talking.
