I'll see you: Murderers We'd have won the European Cup if it wasnt for you Andy Gray Gary Stevens breaking Beglins leg Their fans are absolute c*nts when you don't know them Rafa Beneathus Joe Parkinson Barry Horne The Dogs of War Howard Kendall Colin Harvey Walter Smith Derek Mountfield the Caterpillar Lipped c*** Danny Cadamarteri Pat Van Den Hauwe School of Science Every single song they sing has a reference to LFC We've got the best <insert insignificant matchday merchandise here i.e. Pies, Programmes> Wanting to Groundshare Franny Weasel Face Jeffers Michael Ball - remember his face when McAllisters free kick went in haha

That was genius, I remember seeing that at the time I think I missed the rest of it through laughing. I still hate Everton more though.
-
Course it does, I remember the blues attitude towards us at the time as well don't you?
-
As I said - any Manc worth their salt i.e. not inbred rat-faced Dot Cotton lookalikes.
-
Madness, it's Everton all the way with the Mancs in second. Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Leeds and Newcastle should all be hated equally. Need you have any more reasons to hate Everton? The Peoples Club Billy 'Liar' Kenwright David 'Gargoyle Head' Moyes Joe Royal - the fat pear headed t*** Duncan Ferguson <insert name of latest Woodison protege> future England captain Tim Cahill We're all scousers who live within a three mile radius of County Road (apart from the Welsh and the Wools amongst us that is) You didn't deserve it We outplayed you s*** stinking ground made of wood Do I really need to go on, Everton are our local and historic rivals - the mancs come second. Ask any Manc worth their salt who they hate more us or City and it's City every time, to hate the mancs more than the blues smacks of small time desperation.
-
Me neither, then again it wouldn't surprise me if he played Pennant either.
-
Seconded. The blues are bound to play five in the middle with Johnson out, in which case I'd go for Mascherano and Alonso in the middle with Gerrard on the right and Babel on the left, Torres and Voronin up front. Any news on Aggers fitness?
-
Would you want to put Riise at left back ahead of Arbeloa? I wouldn't.
-
I agree on Agger and Alonso, we've missed them a lot. Had Gerrrards form been better we might not have missed Alonso so much. I think we've missed Agger more though, the distribution from the back was gash on Sunday and we've looked shaky without him. It makes the pursuit of Heinze a bit more understandable imo, cant believe we didn't have a back up target lined up. Agreed, I think Torres should have played v Portsmouth but apart from that the only other gripe I've got WRT team selection/rotation is why Riise played left mid on Sunday, surely we should be looking to be a bit more adventurous than that at home. I've got more issues with defenders forgetting the basics and a captain who's strolling round like he can't be arsed than the manager.

Not the wrong forum, my argument is the merits of Jamie Carragher versus John Terry.
-
I seem to remember John Terry getting found out (embarrased) on a couple of occasions in the Champions League but can't remember against who?
-
I heard that but I'm dubious, he looked an excellent propect but was injured almost all of last season. Apparently he caught the eye in the first game of the Bundesliga though.

I have a feeling that anyone witty or spontaneous wouldn't choose to sit there.

Heinze set to buy out united contract....

Erm, they obviously are they just don't want him to go to Liverpool and I reckon that's got more to do with the emnity between the clubs rather than footballing reasons. -

Then why are they willing to let him go? In his injury free season he was outstanding, best left back in the league by a country mile. Since then he's had a serious knee injury and lost a yard of pace. You've touched on another reason I wouldn't touch him there - one injury free season. He is injury prone, in fact he's injured at the moment. I don't buy it that he'll improve what is arguably the best defence in Europe 'hugely'. He might make a difference at the back but we stand to lose something going forward if he's in the side at Riise's expense. He probably would be a decent addition to the squad but not imo at £7 million. -

So was Pellegrino until not so long ago. He's not first choice in the Man United side though is he, the mercurial Patrice Evra is.............. -

He's 29 and has had a cruciate knee ligament injury, he's not quite past it but it's fair to say his best years are behind him. We could do better. -
That old chestnut, don't you think there was a possibility he was being asked to run the channels by the manager?

If we want cover at centre half then we should buy a centre half and I'm convinced we could get a better and younger left back than Heinze for £7 Million. I don't think Riise is as bad as some make out and don't forget he weighs in with a few goals every season. Madness. -

I can't understand why we want to pay £7 million for a slow 29 year old left back when there's players available with their best years in front of them for less. -
MARIARC is the Magnetic Resonance And Image Analysis Research Centre at the University of Liverpool where they do MRI scans.
-
And he looks like Bilbo Baggins
-
All the indications are that he will be in the very near future though.

Something that makes me think we must have a reasonable transfer kitty is the embarrasment of riches we now have in central midfield. If money was really an issue we have two very saleable assests in Sissoko and Alonso - one of whom we could afford to part with if necessary for a very good fee. If we were really scratching around for transfer funds I don't think we'd be tying both of them to new long term deals.
