  1. I'd settle for that as well.

    Harry Kewell

And you've seen that with your own eyes? I've heard Rafa quoted as saying he's right sided as well but mostly that he's left sided.

Interestingly Rick Parry said Gonzalez is a 'right sided midfielder' today on the Offal. Does anyone know for certain? Could have sworn I saw him do exactly that last night on more than one occassion.

    Morientes

The difference between Rafa nd GH is that Rafa moves them on quickly if they don't cut it. If Morientes continues in this form he'll be gone in the summer. Cisse will be gone in the summer.

    Morientes

Not when he's playing well he doesnt. I conceed he's not playing well at the minute. Someone makes a valid point above that he's having one good game in three which I agree isn't good enough. Cisse on the other hand couldn't trap a bag of cement and is a totally selfish player who relies solely on pace, his finishing isn't up to much - how many times does he have to blast a one on one at a keeper before he realises there's a better way to do it. Cisse is supposed to be more of an out and out striker so he should score more goals than Nando but Nando is capable of setting up goals for others and is capable of being intelligent in possession which Cisse isn't. Ability to get a cross in? Are you watching the same Cisse as me? He's got pace but no idea what to do with it.

Cisse has scored a few but nothing spectacular, Nando is more of a team player and when he's playing well links up play brilliantly. He'll score goals given the right service. Morientes isn't setting the world alight at Liverpool but he's twice the footballer Cisse will ever be.
  7. Exactly - softly softly catchy monkey.
  8. My take on that is because we pissed around too much trying to sign Owen and left it too late to secure the other targets. I don't think Rafa really wanted him but was under pressure from Parry and/or Moores. Because we refused to be held to ransom and wanted to make sure Agger had the right attitude and desire to play for Liverpool which is exactly right and I wouldn't have it any other way. Would you rather our transfer policy went back to the way it was under the previous manager?
  9. Surely that's an Oxymoron?
  10. It's just not that simple. We bought Crouch for a target/link man which he's doing with aplomb. He will get amongst the goals eventually. We bought Cisse as a prolific striker which he's not doing - three league goals including a penalty and a mis*** cross is hardly prolific. His link up play is last and he's a lazy sulky f***** as well. OK so he's been played out of position at times - and sulked about it. He's done nothing to suggest he's going to be a success here.
  11. If you judge it on goals alone then you have a point. If you judge it on overall contribution to our recent form then you haven't got a leg to stand on.
  12. Rubbish - big difference, the other three are team players. Sooner we get shut of Cisse the better imho.

    Michael Owen

Don't sweat he obviously doesn't want to sign a permanent deal at Newcastle, it's just Fat Freddie trying to appease the feckwitted half-naked geordie herd.
  14. I'd say that's probably more likely with maybe Garcia in for Finnan.
  15. Two nights in August, the story of Everton's 2005 Champions League Campaign, is due for screening in early September. Also available on DVD - running time 180 minutes.
  16. We can't have another season of injuries like the previous two, can we?
