Agree that they are great alternatives but even last night when Momo went off Stevie and Alonso were leaving too big a gap between defence and midfield, we will be fine against the lower teams but we need cover when we play the better ones. Can we take Didi on a months loan?

The fact that its a pre season game a few days before a CL qualifier is the exact reason why we shouldn't be overly worried, Players would have had one eye on the next game and I'm sure Rafa told them to take it easy. We lost a pre season friendly against a team who were probably all out to impress in their most important game of the season. Don't worry now, if we lose our next three games by the same margins then have a panic attack...
