Great player, great captain, and seemingly fantastic all round guy Hamilton this year basically became the most successful F1 driver in history and is widely recognised as one of if not the best ever. For a guy of mixed heritage who didnt grow up rich to get into F1 was an achievement but to go on and do what he has done, with or without the best car, is a massive achievement. Plus he's pushed heavily for increased diversity within his sport and further down the chain
