  2. Fair enough, mebbe it was.
  3. It is but you can't know it will be the best stadium in the world when it's finished. And that's clearly Anfield.

  8. Rare for you to agree with Mike.
  9. And you're much, much better than the top post no matter how hard Anders works to prove your gibberish correct. I say that as a self confessed football romantic and as a man who was convinced by the Fowler rumour/possibility. You'd do yourself best credit by withdrawing much of it. I know the sort this football club belongs to and what they think of Fowler and his return is neither here nor there in the big picture, regardless of the significance the likes of you or I would like to place upon it.
  10. What I was trying to say was that if we're having old rows (i.e. like with Fowler) I'll have one with Dus about O'Neill and one with anyone about Baros. Or we could just not have old rows, acknowledge that Fowler can do a job for us now, that the manager thinks he can, and go from there.
  11. Yep. Don't know why either.
  12. It's therefore hero worship you don't support.
  13. The man talks utter s**** 99% of the time. Then you must know Fowler coming back is romantic. Whether you agree or not with the decision to bring him back it is romantic.
  14. I don't like hero worship either but football is pure romanticism and Fowler coming back only adds to our status as the most romantic club in football. That is a reason why I'm in favour of this. As well as the fact I genuinely believe (and have said so since the off) he will do a good job for us. PS, Dus, while I know you are a footballing romantic in general terms I find it a little hard to stomach even the mildest of lessons in romantic football (on the pitch) from a man who wanted Martin O'Neill that purveyor of long throws, big gallutes and little speedy men to manage this brilliant football club. I only bring this up because if everyone is going to fight the od fights, well, I want this one. Now to find someone who rates Baros....
  15. Yep. That's got to be the response. And as little TEAM ENGLAND b******s as possible. Next game against them we should clatter him three or four times first ten.
  16. I have no problem with him acting like a prick. He is a prick. We hate him, he hates us and now let's just hope we get the c***s at home in the FA Cup.
  17. But he's always in the positions, tends to work the keeper and scores in big games. he hasn't gone on any shocking sitter run since Birmingham at home last season.
  18. He is the most natural finisher at the club.
  19. Mike's so right it's ridiculous. This is all irrelevant if Cisse taps it in from six yards or learns to jump to header it into the net. Don't give me the first was offside - that was s***house officiating - easy to give offside after the forward has blazed the f***ing thing over. Why did he need to t*** it so hard? He was appalling - in a game where he is given his head to show what he can do he was utterly, utterly terrible. Like he's never played the game before.
