More accurately Cisse is a quintessential Houllier buy. Over-priced prospect who's all physicality, force and not a footballer who plays best on the shoulder of the last defender in a counter-attacking system. Nando has a proven track-record and was reasonably priced, terrific technique, obviously a player and reads the game well as part of a team based around keeping possession. EDIT: This reads as though I'm overjoyed with nando's contribution thus far this season. I'm not. He needs to improve in front of goal and put a sustained run of fitness together to justify keeping him beyond the summer. My point is one is a quintessential Houllier buy, for his faults, the other, for his faults, a quintessential Benitez buy.
