    It's easier to apportion 'blame' to the manager in hindsight, but in reality there's no reason that team, on paper at least, doesn't beat Villa. Too many players didn't quite perform well enough, whereas Villa's players all put in a very good performance.

    I definitely get that part, I'd have been ecstatic if we'd have gotten £14m for him.

    I'm not saying he will make the same improvements that Henderson made, and I said in the original post "He might never make it." Point being that he's going to try. Can't really be worth ridiculing him for.

    We all championed Henderson for having the tenacity to stay at the club and try to improve enough to become a player for us. Don't know why we don't do the same for Borini. He might never make it, but I like that he's going to try to.

    Great read that, cheers. Really like that we don't start talking about the opposition 2 days before the match - so the primary focus is on us and how we play, rather than trying to solely stop what the other team does.

    And yet you can identify just as shocking moments from any player in any team. Defenders make mistakes that cost us goals, strikers miss sitters, midfielders make loose passes that give away possession leading directly to a goal.
