Somebody trying to have a reasoned look at England on this website...Absolutely no point.

Yes but they would still be no nowt c**** whether England were playing or not.

It's this kind of idiotic post i'm on about.

I have to say i'm really p1ssed off with the amount of abuse directed towards England and England fans, its the same old recycled garbage. Get over yourselves and allow people to support their country without trying to make them feel guilty or like they are some form of low life, would you do the same if they were fans of any other country? The answer to that is no..so get over you England phobia, nobody is making you watch the games or read the papers or go in the pubs, if you don't like it don't do what i have just mentioned and allow those of us who want to enjoy supporting our country do so without your small minded crap you come out with. Anyway I'm not going to read any world cup threads as they are normally full of comments written by anti english idiots.

What England tossers are you referring to?

So supporting your own country and having feeling your own country is small time..really i think its sad you don't have any feeling for the side representing your country.

I thought we wanted to move forward next season? well i dont see how signing Pennant would do that, he hasn't really set any game alight i've watched him playing in, plus he is a liability off the pitch as well. Unlike SWP who is a far better player.

Who can be surprised by Garth Crooks getting it wrong when he struggles to look good in a football discussion alongside the likes of Gavin Peacock and Carlton Palmer.

He'd be a great signing for us.

I'll be there before hand probably in time for the chelsea/mancs game, and certaibnly afterwards.

Could never understand the lack of feeling towards Owen, particularly given the amount of goals he scored for us.

Obviously otherwise he wouldn't have said it and lets be honest who in there heart of hearts would have belived we would have been. not many, certainly not me.
