With many he seems to be a golden boy? With who? He gets slaughtered every week. Not to mention by those at the ground. He was still pressing and closing people down. The whole team looked to have given up, we're a man down against the worst side in the league to be in that situation and losing heavily. Not saying he was great by any means but the criticism he gets every week is completely over the top.

He's no worse than anyone else on the pitch but gets more criticism than anyone.

Yeah they get criticised when they're never heard from. I don't have a Twitter account which is maybe why he doesn't bother me at all but from the very little I've seen he just seems to be trying to interact with fans and comes across alright to me.

Rodgers gets criticised for playing him out of position but think his best performances for us came at wing back. Not that there was many of them but still.

Losing Mane and having no pace in the side was what derailed our season last year and we've definitely fixed that. I think our squad is really strong everywhere apart from centre back but I presume Klopp has a lot more faith in the current defenders than we do as it doesn't make sense otherwise re lack of alternatives. I still think we can have a great season though.

I think we are to be fair. Not as quickly as we hoped and not getting a centre back is baffling but there is an improvement. It's as strong a squad as we've had in years. It's mainly down to Klopp but they did bring him in.

Don't particularly want to gamble on Karius as number one all season so no thanks.

Yep, I think he's decided to leave. There's not been any stories about him rejecting contract offers (I think?) which suggests he's made up his mind.
