Maldini

Signing this lad when he turns 18 this week apparently, another young CB https://www.instagram.com/p/DS2PnWFDWtb/?img_index=2&igsh=MTFyZDFxc3U1MGI0MQ==

6'6", that's a big Duk

He looks vey similar to Konate in playing style except way more comfortable on the ball and a much better passer

It hasn't been like that for about 15 years, in the last couple of years especially they've become more like American football plays with blockers and movement

Feel sorry for him, he's meant to be a great coach. Set pieces have kind of become a specialist job now

Abe was at the last Real game as a guest of Trent's brother who is acting as his agent. Guess he's off then

Manger (a)

Joseph got a hat-trick for England u16s today. I think some of this might be down to Trent's brother by the way. The club cut all ties with him after the way he behaved over the transfers and he represents several academy players.

Winger Kai Morrall is going to Leeds and Harry Lee Frith the keeper who's meant to be highly rated said he's going too. Joshua Abe who's the best in the age group has Chelsea chasing him on a revenge mission for Rio

Seems like there's a bit of an exodus going on at The Academy, two of the better players at u16 level have said they're leaving this week. A couple of others heavily linked away too

It's funny, when you hear people inside the game, players, coaches, scouts etc. talking about Jones they all rate him way higher than the average punter does.

That's what makes it worse though, we've been to heaven and been kicked out

It's a f***ing slog supporting us sometimes isn't it

I think we're missing his ability to alter the flow of a game, he's a great asset off the bench. How much of the fee to Villa was paid as a loan fee?

I thought he was alright first half. We might as well have stuck him on an island out on the left second half though. I think the problems are further back though, we can't get it out from the back at all now. The only tactic from midfield seems to hoping be a Grav slalom run will open them up. Mac Allister is the main problem I think though, he's supposed to be the link man and he's completely AWOL most games.

The u16s beat them 5-0 so maybe the whole talent skipping a generation thing is true

I don't think we need a RB, the two we have are good enough, they've just both been playing below their best or injured.

I think he's the kind of guy that won't f*** them over and force his way out

Wirtz as a 6? How would that work Yeah that's also not Paul Joyce's account

Speed of thought and aggressive on and off the ball, that's the first time he's looked like the player we thought we were getting since pre-season

David Silva too, 1 goal, 4 assists in the first half of his first league season. Only managed 4 and 8 for the full league season

What smugness? Neither of them have said a thing

There's been a bit of chatter about Nico Schlotterbeck over the last couple of weeks. Contract is up in the summer of '27. Bild saying we want to sign him in January
