  1. He's not tall, only 1.84m or slightly over 6ft
  2. Jesus Christ, WTF!
  3. KAnon strikes again Actually he's a good shout for a weird LFC career, looked really good for a while and then fell off a cliff so hard we were happy to sell him to a rival team
  4. Some decent players on Bosmans next summer https://www.instagram.com/p/DLmURkkKs5K/?img_index=1&igsh=dWFibXp2bjFtbGFn
  5. Tried KAMFing there and the Robbie Keane thread seems to be gone
  6. Is Flight not American? Isn't he mates with that pitcher who went all Trumpy and ended up in jail?
  7. KAMF it, I can remember arguing with people who insisted they knew as much about him because they'd seen him in the PL as we did from watching him at international level International football is almost like a different sport now though. It favours off-the-cuff players because the tactics and patterns of play aren't as developed. Pogba is another example of this
  8. Robbie Keane's whole career is pretty weird, he managed to have a long and mostly successful career without ever really learning how to play as a modern centre forward. He just always played like a kid in the playground running around randomly and playing off the cuff and managers built the team to suit that. He played with Berbatov and Sheringham and the team was set up to suit Keane. I can remember most of the Irish lads on here being really against the move because we'd seen how unsophisticated his game was at international level and knew it wouldn't work with Rafa.
  9. Big Jar Jar is already on Önlyfäns scouting for new prospects I'd say
  10. The Balotelli transfer still makes me angry, everyone knew he was off his nut
  11. Bit of talk of United swapping Garnacho for him
  12. What's the best way for a black man to handle his employer posting a meme of him as a monkey? I'd argue by not beating the ever-loving s***e out of everyone responsible he's handled it better than most people would. Aside from that, as Benzo said there was a deal lined up with Chelsea and Napoli added to their classiness by changing the terms last minute and leaving him with no option but to go to the only major league whose window was still open in Turkey.
  13. We'll definitely be putting Chiesa in future versions of this thread
  14. In that case: Neil Ruddock, Julian Dicks and Paul Konchesky. Three absolutely terrible players who had no business being at the club The new Desailly! I like the implied subterfuge in his story too
  15. Jobe Bellingham kind of plays the same position though so probably not likely now. His fee (£31m) is another reason we should demand decent money
  16. Is there baggage around him apart from him wanting a load of dough?
  17. Richie Partridge - more myth than man, whispers of his brilliance echoed around the halls of early internet forums only for him to turn out to be tiny and not particularly great. Later seen as our physio.
  18. It might need a lot of different actors like that Bob Dylan movie where Cate Blanchett and a load of others played him
  19. Paul Jones - signed for us at 36 when we were in a goalkeeping crisis and became our oldest debutant. Played two games before riding off into the sunset.
  20. Ah the Turkish league isn't that bad. There's an element of risk with him but I don't think there's a forward moving this summer that doesn't have a red flag or two
  21. Most of it not of his making though. The s*** Napoli did to him should have got them in major s***. It's one of the most disgusting incidents in modern football. He was well within his rights to kick up a fuss.
  22. I'd be surprised if he doesn't go on loan, a year in the Championship would do him a lot of good
  23. Ricky Tomlinson in Fyds: The Musical
  24. They're talking about £60m for Dibling though and he's not even in the squad for the tournament for which Elliott was just named best player. He's a quality player, he just doesn't suit the way we play. £40m should be the starting point but given the English tax we should really be getting more.
