I'm not disagreeing that it was a shoulder charge. It was however an illegal shoulder charge, a bodycheck to use commentator's parlance. He made absolutely no attempt to play the ball, took the man out, cast iron penalty.

I could post this after nearly every game, and I'm sure most people will think "Oh not another one", but Jesus I hate Andy Gray. What was all that "I just wish they'd go for it" sh*te all about, we battered them, they barely had a sniff in the whole game and we created chance after chance. As for the Stevie G stuff, way to state the obvious Andy, of course his best position is in the centre, but our replacements in the centre are a lot better than our replacements on the right so at the moment we're better with Stevie on the right. You're allowed shoulder charge if it's a 50-50 and you both get to the ball at the same time. Eboue body-checked him a couple of yards away from the ball because Nando was half a yard ahead of him.

How can he be overrated? He's only 16, he's a prospect, nothing more.

Yeah, thought about putting him in as a tied third, but he's made a couple of errors while Sami has been brilliant, and consistent with it. I was a little critical of him last season, thought his legs had gone, and maybe they have, but he's been fantastic this season, as good as I've seen him since the treble season. I think the reason some people are reluctant to say Gerrard is because the media focus so much on him and to build him up kind of buys into the "one-man-team" myth slightly.

We missed out on him too, apparently we really wanted him, he's meant to be very good, United were in for him as well. The team he's playing for at the moment is meant to have a load of class prospects, another of the lads in the team Conor Clifford is only 13 and has been first choice for the Ireland u17s, I read somewhere that we're one of numerous clubs very interested in him
