Why did Gerrard not move towards the ball though instead of trying to shield it? He looked like he was just trying to avoid a tackle. Sloppy pass indeed, but Gerrard could've cleared it if you ask me. I thought Agger did well overall. And almost scored as well. Should've blasted it instead of passing to Garcia.

He's always had 23. And Gerrard's had three: 28, 17 and 8. He never had 32. When did he break into the first team squad? I know he had 17 in the 93/94 season but don't know what he had before that if he was even in the squad.
