No mate I'm not blind. I saw a (physically) fit & lean Kewell who played an excellent 35 minutes after 2 other shorter run outs. The final is not a 2 legged affair-it's a one off 'winner takes all' game. Kewell is in a different stratosphere to Zenden or Gonzales on the left. Who do you think would hurt the opposition more? Sometimes you have to take calculated risks-I'd start with him or give him at least the 2nd half.

Seconded! I thought he was excellent. That shot-the crossbar is still reverberating it was struck that hard! I'd start him in Athens-class is permanent.

I think Djibs comes across well in that interview. I'd take him back for a season rather than accept £3-4million. He clearly wants to return & misses the club, fans & atmosphere.

I hope so! But, as I said on another thread, it did make me wonder if not cup tieing Bellamy was the reason for his sub role last night. Personally I wouldn't dream of selling him & I think his snarly aggression would have been just what we needed last night!
