    Nah I understand what's happening, but why sell him? Even if we had him for 1/4 of the season, he'd still be our top scorer probably. I'm well in favour of giving him a full season under Klopp and then letting him make the decision. How does it benefit us getting rid of him, then him banging them in for some other team like he did when we nearly won the title?

    Why do people seem so keen to see Sturridge being shown the door? Rather have him for 1/2 season than not at all

    Of course he's calling the shots. He wouldn't have come here otherwise. He had the pick of the top European clubs and he chose us. People forget that. The summer is when we can all throw our toys out of the pram if it doesn't materialise

    It's hard to swallow not strengthening, especially when others are splashing the cash around us, but you've got to think there is money to be spent for Jurgen's own players. One of the list sought after managers in Europe - he'd have had assurances when he joined. Just want to fast forward this season to the summer.

    I think it's common sense the way Klopp hasn't rushed him, despite our obvious striker needs. With him, Origi, Coutinho and Skrtel training again this week, that could be a huge lift in time for Wembley

    IF we go a forward, we don't want it to be a buy just to get a body in. Origi is back imminently, so there's an extra option. I think he should wait long term and get who he wants rather than someone just for the sake of it If this season is a write off then so be it.

    There could be all sorts of things going on, no-one knows. Could be a personal issue, could be a mental issue, or could be a broken body. Who knows

    I don't see anything that we have done wrong here. Ayre is an easy target. What should he have done that he hasn't?

    How did we play it out publicly? The club or manager haven't said a word on the subject. It all came from Shakthar and the player. Apart from Ayre getting on a plane, and unless he makes himself invisible not much he can do to stop that being noticed

    I remember laughing with a guy in Istanbul after the game about the fact that Djini Traore had got a CL winners medal ffs and how the world had gone completely bonkers Moreno is better than Traore and Dossena I think, but yes, the bar isn't that high there is it
