  2. Yep, that's my take on it exactly. I hope I'm completely wrong though.

  4. How long have we been banging on about a new stadium? When did we announce it? How far have we got with building it??
  5. Well if tghis is the case they are failing massively then aren't they.

  7. That's not how I read it. I remember interviews and comments from Parry about meeting JKraft etc for the financing of the stadium. HTW else are we going to raise 190 million.
  8. If the only two options to get a new stadium were to groundshare or have someone (relatively honourable) buy the club so we could build our own new stadium what would your choice be?
  9. You know what I meant - so we can put him back in rightful position of marauding midfielder.
  10. I think it's pretty much a given that if Rafa had 12 million to spend and not the 6 he did on Bellamy, then we may have found ourselves with a different striker than Bellamy. We have to cut our cloth accordingly that's all. We are just fortunate to have a manager who is an expert in doing so.
  11. Signed in Feb My only point is staying on topic that these clubs very well may have more money to spend net, that is all. We obviously have the upper hand in quality of signing because of who we are and who our manager is. The theoretical question is, imagine the player Rafa could bring in, and the team he could build if he did indeed have more money to spend. That is all.
  12. BNope, Paletta was bought out of last season's also. The topic is about transfer budgets of various clubs, nothing else. I'm not taking anything seriously, just saying people in glass houses.......
  13. But that's off-topic for this thread isn't it??
  14. But has given us the best England team in the last 15 years, possibly more.
  15. I would say it's a given that all those clubs have a bigger net transfer outlay than us this summer. No surprise there, but it does make you wonder how the 5 times Champions of Europe have less money to spend than most of those teams, if not all of them. This post isn't funny, it's bloody sad.

That's my point though, have they dicked us about and if so how?

FFS, if that's all it is, what's the fecking problem? Surely they won't let it fall because of that. But where does the 15% difference come in that has been quoted by Del Nido?

Where and when was the price raised? It's always been 12 million hasn't it?

You say Del Nido is a t***, but I would imagine that Seviia fans just see him trying to do what is best for the club. If we didn't want to sell our best player and Parry held out for a s much money as we could get, would we be calling him a t***? Mind you, Parry would sell for bottom dollar no doubt.

We paid what was considered to be over the odds this time last year for Crouch. If you want him, you pay. Simple as that really. If the player is what you need top mount a serious title challenge you buy hi, you don't go on to what you consider is second best as that player you obviously consider to be inferior to the first one.

Yes, you'd think that would be the case. If you want something that badly, you just have to pay whatever it costs sometimes. It's a strange one that's for sure, unless we are really taking care of any penny we have as we can't afford to pay anymore.
