  1. I just had a quick look on there and it surprisingly didn't seem that bad.
  2. So Germany v Argentina in the QF's probably. That would be a hell of a game IMO.
  3. I've just been speaking to a Dutch agent I know in Amsterdam. He hasn't heard any whispers on where Kuyt is going but said mhe wouldn't be surprised if it was Liverpool. He said he is "he's the best! Both a terrific player and a terrific human being!"
  4. No, not at all. There could be many reasons why someone would do that, rather than people jumping to mwhat are very often wrong conclusions whwen it comes to something like this. Not if he played for a Palestinian team, no.
  5. OK, a flag of St. George then - pedant. The cynic in me says that the only reason you brought it up in the first place was because it was an Israeli flag. And it has subsequently been proved that there was nothing political in it anyway. If indeed it had of been Hargreaves with a German flag would you really have started this thread? No you wouldn't have.
  6. Does anyone have ant definite news if that is going on this year, when and where it's going to be held this year?
  7. Yep.
  8. And how is that view different to your views/writings/ramblings about Israel? Or should we just say f*** off to you when you go on? So if Spain wiln the WC and the Liverpoolplayers asked him to wave a Union Jack as a favour to them and he did it, he should be slammed as well> That's all the fella was doing ffs. It's because people read so much into little things like this that we have pcgm.
  9. I've spoken to Geoff Hurst quite a few times, before and after Knighthood, and he's never given me the impression of having changed. it was Geoff then and it's Geoff now. Nice fella I thought - then again I think that about Murph as well.
  10. Absolutely, or we'll be in same predicament as England with no strikers.
  11. Nothing wrong with shaved head and tatoos.
  12. What's really pi33ing me off about Owen at the moment are the seemingly poor excuses that he is making during the WC. Firsat of all it looks like he isn't playing well because the rest of the team isn't and now in what I consider to be a thinly veiled snipe at Crouch, he's really looking forward to someone playing behind him or in the hole that plays with their head up. WTF is that meant to mean to poor old Crouchie?

    Rick Parry

At being a goalkeeper or sun bathing at Sandy Lane?
  14. Yep. Just realised it. :dynamite:
  15. It was a fecking war. That sort of thing happens in wars doesn't it? Sinking of ships and stuff.
  16. That would put to bed any more thought's of Owen coming back. Wonder how Owen will feel seeing Bellamy pull on a red shirt when Bellamy was described many times (by myself as well i may add) asa poor man's Michael Owen.
  17. That mate of Stevie G's that went to Monaco with him. That looks like a sound way to spend your time doesn't it. Travelling with your maye who's Captain of the reds. I bet he and Elisha nailed him to the ground when he said he wanted to leave.
  18. If Owen gets any sort of form back and Rooney gets fit you have to say that they are England's best two strikers. I think Crouch is great and will be gutted for him if he gets dropped, but don't let being a red blinker you from the facts.
  19. Fecking grow up. Any stupid fecking reason to get the anti-Israel bandwagon going.
  20. You're way off base on that one I can assure you. (apart from the Daily Mail bit).
  21. Well, I think Neville has as well.
  22. Plays as an attacking full back. If he can do that he can do wing back. Anyone else in the England squad play wing back for their club? No. At the moment, the only thing Ashley Cole has on Neville is pace. He's been very very poor so far, so why would he make a good wing back at the moment and not Neville?
