There will be a fee due to his age, around £3m-£4m so not much. Get him and get Sterling involved added to Stevie, Carroll, Suarez, Bellamy and we look like we have plenty of options without actually going mad like last year.

Could agree more, gives more space to Suarez and Gerrard and we had the perfect example of what that can mean last night. Plus he will only become more of a threat himself with more games in the team.

Shock horror, plays alongside another striker and with Gerrard in the team and does very well. We should always start with Carroll, Gerrard and Suarez for the remaining games of the season and indeed Bellamy when fit and see where we go in the attacking department, I'd also like to see Sterling get a 10 mins her in there with an eye on next season. Get Holliett in for cheap and we have some serious options without spending more than £5m.

He would be best in a midfield three with Lucas behind him and Gerrard in front of him. I'm convinced he would become a very good player in that role. He is a very square looking peg in a very big hole on the right, makes no sense to me when we have Maxi and Kuyt and even Bellamy (who should start ahead of Downing every time he is fit).

If Henderson is on the right again I'm going to punch the cat, I will need to buy a cat. Need players on the pitch who can score goals to win matchs. I'd start with Gerrard, Suarez, Bellamy and Carroll with Spearing and Henderson behind.

Until he is used probably there is no point in even talking about him. Why oh why he is played out wide I'll never, ever know, especially when we have Maxi and Kuyt. He should be in the middle and I dont mean behind the striker, another farcial position choice for him. A middle two of him and Lucas (Spearing for now) with Gerrard ahead of them could be excellent.

100% agree with Leo. If his finishing matched the rest of his ability then I'd say no way, but it doesnt and we need a player up there alongside him who can. I'd be against selling him and much more for getting a complete striker up there with him, that could really work. If he wanted to go then £50m would be great IF we spent the money on top players.
