He looks really confused now, not great defensively and doing next to nothing going forward. Both of which he was good at with Bournemouth.

I was saying similar earlier, the players we bought no doubt technically fit the bill but do the analysts consider their diminutive builds - especially when we have a dearth of larger build players, what they’re like when pressed, their movement (or lack of) etc. We don’t play like the teams we signed the players from and Slot seemed happy with them - apart from Chiesa who ironically is the one he’s not starting but probably really should.

I absolutely loved the way we used to play. The whole midfield and forward line rampaging forwards at speed and pressing all over the opposition half. We were a horrible team to defend against.

Same s*** different day. We look disjointed, tactically inept and weak all over the pitch. We don’t have anybody who can control the midfield. There’s not one player the opposition will be scared of

It’s a bit weird that neither Kerkez nor Bradley are really attacking and overlapping the wide players this season. Both were doing it last season to good effect. Mo looks so isolated now and whoever we’ve played on the left is not a patch on Diaz. The whole balance of how we play looks well off.
