  2. Really pleased for him. Well taken goal, and a decent game all around. I deffo prefer Crouch and Morientes upfront at home, hardly any space for Cisse at most occasions there and they've done really well as a partnership, so I think Cisse is a better option in away games like tonight where he's got more space to use his pace in. Nice to see all our strikers contributing, something which characterise the whole team atm, all players contributes in a fecking superb unit.
  3. Arteta deffo deserved the second booking. That moaning c*** was whining all night and put in several late challenges.
  4. Deffo the sweetest victory this season. Another superb team performance from the lads. We really do look something special at the moment. Gerrrrin yer redmen! Love beating those bitter c***s.
  5. Haha.. that clip is funny as feck.
  6. That clip 'the Kop flies East' or something like that on the special features was great stuff I thought. Rare video footage of travelling redmen going to Hungary in 66'.

  9. Skillful lad, but what a cheat... Weren't he a left winger?
  10. Seriously, are there any refs we look forward to seeing? Bar Clattenburg?
  11. Close mate of Mori isn't he?
  12. Agreed. f***ing loved it. Well done to the lads again. Solid, solid stuff. The team looks like one f***ing mean unit atm. Rafa talks often about the importance of working together and the creation of a TEAM. He's surely about to create that. Every player contributes making a solid team unit.

  16. What a f***ing idiot.. No wonder footballers get a reputation for being a bit dumb when you've got the likes of Di Canio... Ban the f***ing coward...

  18. I think there's quite a few good reasons explained in this thread why a lot of people don't like that coward very much.
  19. It was. He was never interested in the ball. My blood boils when I see that f***ing coward doing an commercial for a certain rag as well...

  21. Some people can't be pleased can they... I respect every fan's opinion but the Guv's post is just rubbish. Dislike the most honest and well behaved manager who's just won the biggest club trophy in the world for our club? A man who keeps away from the public light, always smiling and respects everone, and let the team do the talking. I could go on and on forever about the reasons why to like this man. The man loves and breath this club, and works his b****** off for our beloved club. And he brings results. How can you dislike him? Nothing wrong in disagreeing in the decisions he makes, but disliking him?? The Guv, how the f*** can you lose respect for Benitez after tonights match? I just find that incredible.... Clear favouritism toward his own signings?? Yeah he showed that with Nunez didnt' he... Your post goes right into the list of crap posts where the posters think they actually know more about the team than the fella who works with them every day, the fella who knows their current fitness situation and what form they're in and etc... Perhaps Cisse's a bit tired at the moment and needed a rest and starting on the bench? Maybe he hasn't impressed at training as well? And to be fair, he's been far from impressing lately, so I really hadn't any complaints seeing him starting on the bench.

    HJC

I thought Hammond was very, very harsh on the HJC in that interview Barns mentioned.
  23. Ryan Taylor - player profile decent goal record for a RB.
  24. offish REDS NOT LOOKING FOR BRUNO RETURN Paul Eaton 27 January 2005 Liverpool have today denied they are seeking to bring Bruno Cheyrou back to Anfield to help ease their injury crisis. The 26 year old midfielder is currently on a season long loan to Marseille, but reports from France today have suggested Rafael Benitez would like him to return to Anfield to help the Reds over the remainder of the campaign. However, Liverpool have today responded by insisting they are not looking for the player to make a quick return to the club. Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton said: "We are not in discussions with Marseille to cut short Bruno Cheyrou's loan deal." Cheyrou has made ten appearances for Marseille this season, with eight of them coming as a substitute.
