Rather predicatable wasnt it? Frm Skysports:: Everton are considering a move for deposed Rangers captain Barry Ferguson, according to the Liverpool Echo.. Toffees boss David Moyes has failed to land the midfielder on two occasions in the past but is ready to offer Ferguson a way out of his Ibrox nightmare. Moyes knows other positions are a priority for strengthening and finances are tight, but could offer him a loan deal until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal in the summer. Moyes attempted to sign Ferguson when he left Rangers for Blackburn in 2003 and also made a move for the Scotland international before he rejoined the Glasgow club in January 2005. However, despite the fact Ferguson failed to settle during his short spell in the Premiership with Rovers, a return to England now looks likely with Aston Villa, Newcastle and West Ham also rumoured to be interested.
