  1. YNWA Justice for the 96
  2. Really hope he gets the Golden Boot. Might shut a few people up. Doubt it though.
  3. Kev would still not be convinced even if he did end up top scorer in the CL!
  4. Would be my greatest moment in football or my worst. I try not to think too much about it.
  5. Thats right. Crouch will score a hat trick in the CL final for us to win 3 2. Many Liverpool fans and others will still not rate Crouch and claim he isnt good enough and cant play in the big games.

    Arbeloa

Blessing in disguise that was loosing out on that prick.
  7. Indeed i was yes. And it was his header which led to Mellors goal againt Olympiakos. Also scored one against the russians in the Carling Cup final. He often posed a threat in the air, unlike Cisse.
  8. Can i be the first to say (and mean it!) Please let this be true!
  9. Im with you Joe. I thought he did an ok job with us. Was quite good in the air too. I have no complaints about him at all and when we failed to sign Alves, Simao etc that summer, i was wishing Rafa had kept him.
  10. craziest thread ever!!
  11. Quite a few people up here in da north think Tayto taste nicer down south. Havent tried them that much yself to give an honest opinion. Pints are nicer in Donegal than they are in "the north". Why is that?
  12. They would be right to think that. Hopefully someone else thinkgsdifferent and we can still sell him.
  13. Stupidity from all 3 sides. But the police should know better. Disgraceful that.
  14. Werent we very close to letting Finnan and his fellow Champions League winning defender Djimi Traore go to that small club just after Rafa first arrived?
  15. He must be our player as it was stated that we couldnt sign him while he was with MSi and West Ham are in the s*** because they did this. Rumnours are we have him signed for 18 months, belonging to us and no one else. No idea if thats true to be honest.
  16. Well after reading this thread i am even more convinced that Quinn is a good bloke!
  17. Quinn is a good guy. He has had that image in the game for many many years and you dont cover things up and put on a false impression of yourself for that long. Compared to most people in football he a saint.
  18. Our leading goal scorer. Agead of Kuyt. Ahead of Bellamy. Ahead of Fowler. If he isnt good enough what does that say about the rest of them. he will just never be accepted by some people.
  19. Superb performance by big Pete. I certainly hope he is around next year and i think he will be. No reason to get rid of him.
  20. They do seem to be good blokes to have n charge but it is very early days. However i am not one bit disappointed that the DIC deal didnt come off. I still think we are in better hands.
  21. found this on sportinglife: Wrexham have thanked Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy after he made a "very generous donation" towards their fight against relegation. Thanks to the Welsh international, the struggling League Two club, who are one place off the bottom of the Football League, were able to sign three players on loan as they seek to avoid dropping into the Conference. It is understood the money is part of the fine Bellamy received from Liverpool for his part in a Portuguese training-camp incident, which included a row with team-mate John Arne Riise. Liverpool fined several players for breaking curfew after a night out. Wrexham's directors paid tribute to Bellamy for his contribution to their fight against relegation. A statement read: "The directors of Wrexham FC would personally like to say a very big thank you on behalf of all our supporters to Wales' own Craig Bellamy for the very generous donation he has made to Wrexham Football Club. "This has allowed us to bring in three loan players to aid our fight for Football League survival. "Who will forget the reception Craig received when he made his debut for Liverpool at The Racecourse last July. "Indeed, how proud he looked and how well he played when he given the honour of captaining his country against Liechtenstein at The Racecourse earlier this season." Cardiff-born Bellamy, who is hoping his gesture can help to preserve the Dragons' League status, admitted he has a soft spot for the north Wales club. "Being a proud Welshman and supporter of Welsh football, I feel it's important that Wrexham retain their place in The Football League and I hope this gesture can help," said the Wales striker. "I have a lot of friends playing at the club and have enjoyed some memorable times at The Racecourse, especially when I was given the captain's armband for my country. "I also remember the wonderful reception from the local fans when I made my Liverpool debut there in a pre-season friendly." The amount of money Bellamy has donated is unknown, but it helped Wrexham to sign Port Vale centre-back Richard Walker, Hartlepool striker Mike Proctor and Carlisle goalkeeper Anthony Williams, the former Wales under-21 player. All three joined the Racecourse club just before last Thursday's deadline for loan deals in the Football League, and all played in last Saturday's crucial 1-0 away win at Bristol Rovers.
