  1. Eh? Assuming we have a back 4 and keeper you'd have one too many
  2. I guess he thought a threesome sounded even less gay
  3. It was actually a female journo that he said it to.

  5. It was cringeworthy stuff how much he was shown up in that team this season. When your strike partner resorts to give you peno's out of pity then it's a little sign. If you had to write a list of how much each Barca player contributed to the league victory he wouldn't be in the top ten.

Are you taking the piss? I was looking for the smiley face

    R B S

If you don't blame RBS why are you suggesting a boycott of them?

    R B S

How exactly do you expect RBS to have acted? They are in the business of making money from lending to others. They are just doing what they do. It's the two muppets that can't afford us.
  9. And who else is? The owners are scum, Purslow's true colours are being shown. Too early to make a call on Broughton but looks like he is only here to sell up.
  10. Not like the shape of the side matters. If Pacheco played it would be in Aqualani's spot. There would be plenty giving out about that
  11. I never said critical. Your exact wording was a "case for the defence" - that to me is an article that completelt ignores his failings and only talks about the positives. That aint what the article does. it's a favour piece is more about the s*** background stuff than anything.
  12. As ever people just read what they want into the articles. It's a pretty decent piece in my mind. Doin is a fan I think. He's written quite a lot of good articles in the last few years. He gets what is going on at the club alot more than most of the hacks. This piece of the article is hardly a "case for the defence" Then he became distracted and demented by the financial position and gaining control. His attempt to sell Xabi Alonso was a disaster -- not because Alonso was in sparkling form and it made no sense -- but because his return to form was achieved not by coaxing the best from him but by instilling a sense of resentment that made his departure inevitable. One of the key tenets of Benitez's philosophy is that he does not get close to the players. There is nothing wrong with that but it works best if the manager does not hold resentments if the players react to that distance, as Alonso did. The sadness in the fracturing of the relationship with the player once known as 'Son of Rafa' was compounded when, having taken the biggest risk of his career at Liverpool, Benitez barely saw any of the transfer fee. Instead, he was forced to gamble on a fragile player like Alberto Aquilani and the pressure was on once it quickly became apparent that the title would not be achieved as many had expected. Benitez had been exhausted by the battles he had to fight. He was contaminated by the bulls*** coming down the line and the players appear to have had enough. Just as his success masked the dysfunction of the regime he was employed by, his failures have hidden them too. Benitez took on Hicks and Gillett and paid the price: not the loss of his job but the loss of his vision of what the team should be. Like all obsessives, he is always at risk of losing touch with reality.
  13. One of his plus points imo. For a man that is constantly described as stubborn he is better than a lot of other managers for shipping out guys not making the grade even if he bought them himself.
  14. I don't know but maybe that's maybe more of a case that he's felt more comfortable Aquilani is properly fit. I'm not defending him picking Lucas & Masch all the time (it was a mistake) but your comment is a pretty snidey one.
  15. Crouch couldn't play in the formation that we have played in the last two years (the one that we did so well with last season). His role would have been limited and he decided to move on. End of.
  16. And right there you prove you're not worth listening to!
  17. Agreed 100% but I find it strange that he would organise a meeting in London (as has been suggested) for the day of the match anyway. Once the fixture was set he would have rescheduled surely.
  18. Haha nice that you have decided what is and isn' his job. If we was there discussing deals that Rafa was in agreement with then I would think that's very much his job exactly. where is this info supposed to be coming from anyWAY?
  19. Exactly banks wouldn't agree to loans without that type of security to back it up. They'd be nuts
  20. Yep I edited out the word sued. The point I was trying to make is that H&G don't have an easy out here. The banks will force the sale. They won't want to directly take ownership of the club themselves
  21. It is a limited company yes but you can't just walk away from debts the way the post was suggesting. There would be a financial impact to them If nothing else they would find it really difficult & expensive to get debt in the future
  22. Where people getting this idea from? They own Kop holdings. They will be liable for it's debts.
  23. You really are a miserable git.

  25. To be fair he was s*** today. Nando looked like he cared more.
