Kewell is a very good player, one of the best in the squad and has shown it on many occasions. Gonzalez is nowhere near his level yet and I haven't seen too much from him yet to suggest he will get near it.

Pennant does a few things each time I've seen him play that make me think he will be OK. Sissoko's injury should be the perfect oppotunity for him unless Rafa goes with Garcia wide(ish)right.

Was Ashley Cole was trying to generate another controversy to take the heat off any possible headlines re this alleged incident? I would hope if this is true that King and Chimbonda make a complaint.

I agree with most of what you say but I think that Rafa would love to have an Alves type player, especially if it was Alves himself. When I've seen him he does gt upfiled as well asny right back around but he gets back very well and does his defensive work. Having said that, I think Finnan is going to take some shifting from the RB spot, and I'm delighted he is our player.
