It was mbeuno's elbow that hit macca in the back of his head. The mancs worryingly had a load of chances as well and looked like scoring from most set pieces

Agree but the midfield also don't put a foot in. Only do it when it's a last ditch job. Really weird

We seem to have forgotten how to bloody tackle as well. Stand off the player to let them do what the hell they want

Pass to

The heads fell off collectively but the ball was given away and robbo was walking back must have got a shout from the bench so he ran back but you could see that he wasn't looking at the lad on the right so when the ball comes over robbo is having to react last second rather than being on top of it to clear it out. Sadly another example of robbo not doing his job. They attacked on Bradley's szobos side all game apart from the last 10 mins as robbo was giving the kid all the space in the world and not closing him down at all (resulted in a shot which mama tipped passed the post as well).

It's too attacking for me leaving our midfield getting overrun especially with the full backs bombing forward. A couple of passes and the oppo are in on goal

He has to earn the right to play. His pricetag shouldn't come into it. Shoehorning him into the side has messed up the balance of the team.

Whatever tweaks slot has been implementing need to be reversed and go back to the tried and tested of last season. We give the ball away and the other side are in on goal within one or two passes. Wirtz for me is a massive issue. Not great at tackling or pressing and he gives the ball away 3 out of 5 times. We also seem to be overrun in midfield when he plays as he goes wondering

A factor in favour of Southgate would be no compo. They would have to shell out a fair bit for either glasner or iraola plus with any payout for amorim and his backroom staff

Any images of it?

When wirtz plays we get overrun in certain areas of the pitch. Today you would think he was left of the 3 but he was wondering over to where salah was stood on his toes meaning palace didnt have to worry about the other side (that changed when gakpo came on). When he plays in the middle 3 we seem to be overrun in there as well. Massive problem and already starting to look like a player who doesn't really fit in with how we play.
